Summary: TV worked great for 4 months, then while watching TV a red light in the corner flashed and the TV went blank. It would turn on for a few minutes with no picture then the red light blink and go off. A google search indicated that one or more capacitors likely went out, a common issue with these TVs and similar models. It is amazing with today's technology a better TV is not made. Now I get to send TV to repair shop; a 4 month old TV!!!!
This is my 3rd Samsung plasma and I've never been disappointed. My 50" original purchase is still as great ...

Summary: Simply an outstanding purchase. This is my 3rd Samsung plasma and I've never been disappointed. My 50" original purchase is still as great as it was the day I brought it home. I lost the 55" in my divorce and I now have a 64" that's just perfect for my space. The picture quality is superb (as you would expect from a plasma) and the fact that it weighs less than the 50" model I have is just outstanding.
Very happy with this soon-to-be undeservingly "obsolete" TV

Summary: I love this TV. Amazing picture quality. No issues with reflection, even with lights on and window blinds open - though the room does not get direct sunlight. No gimmicks, just the basics. Only complaint is the lack of HDMI and audio outputs, but to get this picture quality at such a low price is absurd. This is the last of a dying breed - it will be awhile before TVs in this price range have such excellent picture quality (OLEDs are still very high priced).
Summary: All my tvs in my house are plasma as of today they still get the best natural picture and colors for watching sports. This TV is great it does not have the extras but I did not want them anyways I have them on my other tvs and never use use them. I hooked my Apple TV to it through my Bose system wow great picture and sound as always! It's a very sad world Plasma tvs are almost gone I hope they will bring them back soon.
Great picture as most buyers have reported before me

Summary: Great picture as most buyers have reported before me. Bought a HDMI switcher to solve the issue of playing devices connected to this wonderful Plasma. Nothing can touch it for the price... high value...
All this TV does is put out phenomenal picture quality

Summary: As others have said this TV does one thing and it does it very well, put out great picture quality. I use my xbox one for apps and have a great surround system. The amount of detail accurate and crisply displayed on this TV is crazy. The blacks are so much darker than on my 3 year old Vizio. It has been a night a day difference, as others have said turn off the eco sensor right away and spend 10 minutes adjusting the display settings for your room and tastes.
Summary: I poured over reviews for months trying to figure out which plasma to buy. Did I want to fret over price? Fret over pentile display? I finally pulled the trigger on the PN64H5000 and do not regret it for an instant. Ignore the "pentile talk". You won't care if you sit a normal distance from the TV. Price? Please, it's 64" of high contrast love for an amazing price. No Smart TV features? Who cares?
Summary: Reading the other reviews on the Samsung 64" plasma, even the less than perfect reviews were helpful. I own two different Samsung Plasma displays. One of is 42", which developed issues within a year, and cost me $50 to fix, NBD. The other is a 50", which went 6 years before the start of power supply problems. Again, NBD. six years of Pandora and Netflix, did not burn the screen. Both of these older units had very reflective screens, even mirror like.
