Summary: Google "Samsung shuts on and off by itself". It's like a bad rash all over the internet. This TV was a splurge for us and after careful research, and several demos at Best Buy, we felt we were getting a top of the line TV for our home theater. We didn't opt for the extended warranty with Best Buy because our perspective was the following: If you're spending $3,000 for a TV, you expect the manufacturer to stand behind its product.
Summary: Buyer Beware!!! The wireless network card breaks in these things after a year - right when the warrenty is up. When it happened, we researched the problem and found its everywhere - lots of people having this issue with this TV. Then, they give you the run around. 7 calls to Samsung, 7 ticket #'s and now I'm being told to call back again tomorrow since they have no way to help me. No local service centers, no way for me to send it it, etc.
Summary: TV buzzes a bit and has a single dead pixel. Otherwise, it's pretty great. The installers however sucked. When they opened the truck, all of the TVs inside had fallen to the side. When they were assembling the stand, they asked if they could balance it against my couch to make it easier. They then placed the entire thing SCREEN DOWN on my ottoman while I cringed in horror.
Summary: My living room had a perfect wall for this unit - no direct sunlight and large enough for 64". I like plasma because of the gaming and sports - 600mhz is important for action and this TV is perfect. I have never seen a more clear picture on any TV - the video games, the baseball and football game, and movies are all impressive. The sound system is surprisingly good for a super-slim TV.

Summary: *****W A R N I N G***** Do not buy SAMSUNG Televisions!!! Maybe $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 is not a lot of money for some folks to spend on a television, but it is to me. This is money I'll never get back, nor derive true enjoyment, nor value from due to the DEFECTIVE SAMSUNG product that I purchased.
Summary: When I first got the Samsung Plasma 7000 two years ago, I thought it was a fantastic TV. Great picture, great sound! But it has not aged very well. First, I think the online services are pokey and not worth dealing with. It's much more convenient to use a Roku or Xbox to access such services. After a while the services became more of a nuisance when they would pop on and off for various reasons now and then.
Summary: this is a great TV it is a giant talking picture on the wall sometimes I wonder how voice is come from the screen that illuminates the rear walls of my dwelling I live in a tiki hut I live with a straw mat na wouldn't lol I love biscuits
Summary: Love the functionality of this device, it is not just a tv, but now the core of a entertainment center. With the wireless capability, it can go directly to receive Amazon Prime, as well as Vudu for streaming the movies I already have. 3D to me is fantastic.
Summary: Dark levels are insanely vivid and deep. The smart features are cool and fast on my att extreme DSL especially amazon prime videos and hulu plus. No buzz whatsoever. Sound is great through my kef surround speakers. By the way, if you are buying a 2,000.00 TV spend a little and get a decent sound system for it and don't rely on the onboard speakers. I had a pani vt before this and I would rank them both 5 stars. I have a couple of LED TVs but plasma is where it's at IMHO.
Summary: Got this 2 weeks ago from amazon for $1,698.00 Great deal ,great size, havent tried blu ray or 3d yet but over the air hd tv looks good and netflix works great with the super HD that they offer
