Summary: We had this TV just over 2 years and what started out as a black vertical line appeared on the right side of the screen about 8 - 10 inches from the right side. After a while it got thicker and turned a sparkly multicolor line about a half inch to 3/4 inch wide. Had the TV repair person in yesterday and said it's the screen which would need to be replaced. He left and after researching it, he found a place that had the screen for $1300.00.
Summary: This TV was fine until about 2 years after purchase, when a black horizontal line appeared across the middle of the screen. This line gradually expanded over time to about 30-40 pixels in width and is probably still growing. I have taken a lot of time to complain to Samsung about a possible repair, but even after talking with 3 different levels of customer service (getting nastier each step of the way), they won't budge from the one year warranty.
Excerpt: This T.V makes veiwing Pretty much any type of video, picture, and video games as much part of the room as you or myself. It is able to upgrade the firmware and hooks up to just about any device you might need. I will be purchusing samsung HD T.V's from now on.
Summary: Arrived on time, safe packaging. Was worried about shipping damage but they were very professional and careful and it arrived beautifully with no damage. Was also concerned about other reviewers getting buzzing from tv, but not on ours! The sound and picture are stunning! LOVE the quality!!!This one came recommended by consumer reports and I can see why!
Summary: Ordered a used pn63c550 from amazon warehouse for a great deal. I was a little worried about buying used but everything was in its bag and covered like new with no evidence of use! I bought a one year extended warranty though just in case. Also I was concerned about the buzzing noise that some have experienced but the set runs very quiet. Lastly the picture quality.
Summary: So far very happy with this TV. I looked at tv's in the store and samsung does have some very good color when compared to the others. Sometimes I looked at it and questioned whether colors are that vivid in real life (ha), but it looks good. I've only had the tv a month and still getting to know it - haven't gotten too deeply in the menus. I had an LG 60" from amazon before this and it's picture looked good, but this I feel looks better.
Summary: My 63-inch Samsung plasma TV arrived just in time for the big football games after the New Year! And it was love at first sight. Setup was plug-and-play. The picture is astounding with no bad viewing angles at all. My new bluray player only adds icing on the cake. I recently hooked up my JVC home theater to it and now I'm really in seventh heaven! This set is worth all the hoopla surrounding plasmas.
Huge TV, Great Picture Quality, slight buzzing (details within)

Summary: First of all, this TV is GIGANTIC (well, granted my last television was all of 32" which will make anything seem large, but I digress....). I have read a lot about this 'plasma buzz' business, and that had me pretty worried. The set does buzz, though the unit I own only seems to get 'bad' when the screen is displaying mostly black pixels.
Summary: Two years ago we bought a 58" Samsung and loved it decided to move it to a different room and purchased the 63" Samsung it is awesome great picture sounds great and was cheaper than our one two years ago
Summary: WOW! This is one great looking television. I'm using this as a monitor on a system that has a few televisions and this simply displays video via an HDMI connection. It is installed on the wall and, with no accompanying cable box, has a very clean look. This unit does not have the Samsung apps, but since I'm using an HDMI connection, I'll eventually get a Samsung Blue Ray player that offers some of those widgets.
