Still the best picture for the money, so get it while you can

Robert Foster, Amazon
  • Summary: I've had this for a few months and it's by far the best display I've owned. Strengths: Excellent details and picture quality. No discernible artifacts or blurriness. Very clear picture. Good price, at least when I bought mine, for what you get. Unfortunately, plasma is on it's way out. I think this is a shame since it still provides the best picture. Glad I bought mine when I did. Excellent black levels. Dark portions of the screen still have detail.

Without a doubt THE BEST picture quality I have ever experienced

Michael, Amazon
22 January 2015
  • Summary: Without a doubt THE BEST picture quality I have ever experienced. I gave my 51" to my mom because I wanted a larger one before they are all gone, which they probably are by now. Too bad plasmas have to go. I just hope the new 4k TVs can come match the DEPTH of the picture as well as color saturations.

It's a wonderful smart TV that seems to do everything

andreaw, Amazon
21 December 2014
  • Summary: It's a wonderful smart TV that seems to do everything. Also exceptional clarity and color and really broad viewing range. One thing that's really cool is their 3D capability and the 3D glasses. If you want one, buy it now because the company that made plasma TVs for Samsung and LG is no longer in business.

Get it while they still sell plasma.

mike gent, Amazon
8 December 2014
  • Summary: Beautiful TV with great picture. There are too many choices for me. I use a Harmony one for remote, but some may like all the options(speech control, motion control and two remotes). Don't know if the 3D is great or not since I haven't really worked with it too much. However the picture is outstanding and hooked up to a good Home Theater receiver this is the way to go,especially if you like smooth motion in sports and a beautiful wide angle picture when watching...

This tv is a billion times better than I imagined it would be

FloydTerminator, Amazon
4 December 2014
  • Summary: I have only had the tv for a few days but......WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This tv is a billion times better than I imagined it would be. The clarity, detail and depth are out of this world. I went to a few stores and compared this to other brands and with 4k tvs, and I'm sorry if you love 4k, but 4k isnt even in this tvs league. 4K is great yes, but i personally thought it looked like it had a filter over the picture or like it was processed.

From old-school to new-school; Plasma FTW!!!

SLH "Sherrill Harrison", Amazon
28 November 2014
  • Summary: History: I’m an old-school person. I held onto my 21” SONY Trinitron monitors until their machine spirit could no longer be roused; because you could not get a better picture from ANY LCD monitor. I was afraid to say goodbye to my 60” DPL television because, once again, I was in love with the picture quality. I never did find a LCD TV, LED or backlit, which produced the proper shading.

Winner of the VE Flat Panel Shootout two years in ...

Dan, Amazon
26 November 2014
  • Summary: Winner of the VE Flat Panel Shootout two years in a row. Only positive things to say about this other than two items. One, there's a slight buzz when sitting directly in front of the TV and directly centered. If you sit a foot or two left or right of dead center the buzzing can't be heard. Two, the AR filter they use means you need to be sitting close to eye level with the TV or have the ability to tilt it. If you don't the picture will dim.
