Summary: I purchased this TV 3-22-13 and just now had my first problem. the LED power light keeps blinking and it won't power on. So after much research on the web, I found that most of these Samsung sets start having this problem when the set hits two years old! I took the advice I found on the web and called Samsung even though I knew the set was out of the one year warranty period. The first rep I spoke with declined my request to have Samsung pay for the repair.
Summary: TV stopped working 2yrs in. One day I turned on the TV like usual and it began to power-cycle on/off over and over again all by itself. The only way to make it stop was to actually unplug it. I called Samsung who told me it was outside the 1-yr warranty and I would have to schedule an appointment with a technician to troubleshoot it. I read a lot of reviews online describing the issue (very common) and just bought a new power board myself ($200).

Summary: I bought the 2012 version a couple of years ago for a little under $1900. In February of this year (after the warranty expired!) the built-in streaming services completely stopped working - both Netflix and Amazon Prime. I checked with Netflix, and the problem is definitely with the Samsung TV. Samsung has essentially been giving me the run-around for several months.

Summary: Failed at 14 months of age. First audio then video. Disconnecting and reconnecting power brought it back to life for about 15 minutes before failure happened again. Really disappointed after all the time we spent researching prior to purchase. Forget about trying to get service from Samsung. Filling out service requests on their website results in silence. Next will be LED from Costco as I've lost all faith in Samsung.
Summary: I purchased this TV in 2012 after researching a number of brands and models. This Samsung Plasma was noted as the top pick in consumer reports and other rating websites. Right at the two year mark the TV would randomly turn off and then back on. It progressively grew worse with the unit not even powering on! I called Samsung support and they were indifferent and told me there were no such known issues with their TV’s and to have a nice day.

Summary: The picture is very good and has been good for 10 months. But now the TV will not come on sometimes and will work fine other times. Sometimes it will turn itself off also. Samsung customer service has gone down hill in the last year!! I wish I could return this set. Sometimes when I unplug it then plug it back in it starts all by itself..
Summary: We purchased this TV in September 2012 after a tremendous deal of research and comparison shopping. We are extremely happy with it; the 3D is awesome, it has a great refresh rate and the Smart TV features are pretty cool, except kind of slow. It networks with other devices (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.), which is a neat feature The only thing that makes us rate it 4 stars instead of 5 is the sound.
Summary: Nice TV with great picture. I did notice a slight buzz that everyone was talking about. The apps can be slow at times. The streaming is definitely slower than my xbox so we stream with xbox for hulu and netflix. Other than that it is a great TV.
