Summary: Sooo... I bought this TV back in 2011... Had no issues for the first couple of years and it worked great, I was happy, TV was happy... it was bliss. About a year ago, I started to experience the purple/magenta hazing/banding issues on white screens.
Summary: I have had this set about 3 years and too have had the magenta bleed on the white or light colored screens. Samsung replaced the first screen after about 8 months for free. Everything was fine for about 8 months again, then the same issue arose with the white screens.
Horrible red haze that samsung knows about, but won't fix!

Summary: looks truely horrible during outdoor scenes where the sky is covered with red "snow" or haze. This is a known problem with Samsung TVs, and they did recall a bunch of models - but not this model Never buy Samsung again
Summary: The TV had to go to the shop in the first few months, now the same problem is back again. Of course Samsung will do nothing for me and the repair will cost as much as the TV is worth. Samsung service is terrible.
Summary: Purchased this just over two years ago and started having the same problem all others have been having. It bleeds red on top and now it bleeds red on the bottom of the picture. As it seems all who purchased this model have the same problem, Samsung would help fix it.
Do not buy this tv unless you have an extended warranty

Summary: The the tv worked great right up until the warranty expired. Then a small portion in the upper right corner had magenta coloring when viewing white screens. Now the magenta has grown all over the screen (see pics.) Had a repairman out here to check it out and he said it's probably a misfiring issue.
Summary: Worked right up until the warranty lapsed then any large light area of the top of the screen turned magenta colored. Contacted Samsung but no response. I'm sure they've heard it a thousand times by now.
Summary: I have owned this product for 1 year and 4 months. While watching a movie last night the picture went black. The sound works but there is no picture. I contacted Samsung and they will not repair this under warranty. Obviously a defect. Time to go buy from a different company!!

Summary: I bought this set at Best Buy. The price for a 58" Plasma was great. The color and contract are fantastic however I am having issues with picture quality. I am waiting on a repairman to take a look at the set soon. The set seems to have a difficult time keeping up with motion.
Summary: I purchased this tv back in dec. 2010. A lot of the reviews already talk about the picture quality of the tv. i wanted to talk about the allshare and the media player. This feature isn't unique to this model but to a lot of more recently released tvs.
