Getting a reasonably priced plasma set isn't all that hard in 2008. There are plenty of options for consumers, and sets have reached a price that many households would consider attainable. Getting a reasonably-priced plasma set with a larger-than-average screen--say, 50 inches or more--is still no easy task, however. I'm very happy with this 58" plasma tv. After 3 months of researching, I am glad so say this is a great plasma tv for the price. The colors and the tv itself look great. I was worried about the glare on the tv, since I've read some negative responses with glare and plasma tv's. I have not had any glare issues at this point, as long as the blinds are closed. About 2 months since we bought it, we were having problems with the screen where images would overlap each other not to be confused with Screen Burns. A technician not from SAMSUNG by the way because they told us that we'd have to pay $$$ if issue was not covered by warranty. No big deal! It's just that we paid more than 4K for this product only for it to break in less than 2 months. The point is, why charge us that much when it breaks in less than 2 months and for the... Read more

I love this TV. The picture quality is better than anything I have seen on the market. The TV is user friendly. The only downside is sound quality but I have a Bose Surround that makes up for that.brIt is almost like watching TV in 3D and it improves picture quality of channels that are not HD. Read more

"I got this as a replacement TV from Best Buy as my previous one broke. I would have to say that I love this more as the picture is so very clean. It has changed my perspective about plasma TV's. Do not go for the brand name. Samsung plasma and lcd are awesome TV's for the money. I definetely recommend this TV. Best Buy runs great sales on this TV so go there and get it.
