Almost perfect but the devil's in the details.

Summary: When I ordered a TV off of Amazon Warehouse, they messed my order up. Instead of shipping me the 55" LG Cinema-3D edge-lit LED tv that I'd pair for, they shipped me a lower-model 51" Samsung Plasma with no 3D but full 1080p. I set it up and turned it on without realizing and when I saw the picture, I was BLOWN AWAY. The colors are SO powerful and VIVID, compared to the older 42" Vizio LCD that I had prior (which was still a great tv).
Summary: It was great but came damaged during shipping. It had warranty so it got fixed for free. I would like anybody who love 3D picture TVs to buy this. It's a small theatre style entertainment but great value.
Summary: I've read the multiple negative reviews and complaints about some buzzing/humming noise from the tv, but so far I haven't experienced this. Not sure why but I'm happy and satisfied with it. It does however have a slight delay in it sometimes and I have to power it off and on again. That aside that, so far, so good. (I'll update this post should anything change).
Amazing picture for a while, but then comes the Image retention (updated)

Summary: -UPDATE- 12/30/2012. I have to say after owning this for a little while and letting it break in, this TV is really amazing! I find myself wanting to watch movies on this plasma more than my ES8000 LED. I finally was able to tweak it to where the colors "pop". The viewing angle is so much better than the LED and the blacks are black. (Things I love more about this Plasma than my ES8000 sets) 1) The black levels are way better than my ES8000 LED's.
Summary: Bought this during the thanksgiving week. Price was acceptable after the drop. Wouldn't have bought it at the higher price. (below are the pluses and minuses - not in any particular order) Pluses: 1. Price. Panaonic's equivalent model costed more during my purchase (now about $50 less). However Samsung has an inbuilt camera. Big plus for me. Panasonic does not come with a camera. 2. Delivery. White glove delivery. Nice touch from Amazon. 3. Features - Works well.
Summary: The Smart Remote jumps around when using the trackpad. Numerous times the top menu pulls down for no reason. I still need three remotes, which is crazy, because the Smart Remote doesn't easily open the channel menu and the tv remote doesn't operate the cable channels and the cable remote doesn't operate the volume. The picture image quality is amazing, particularly with animated trailers and high quality reality shows.
