Almost perfect but the devil's in the details.

Summary: When I ordered a TV off of Amazon Warehouse, they messed my order up. Instead of shipping me the 55" LG Cinema-3D edge-lit LED tv that I'd pair for, they shipped me a lower-model 51" Samsung Plasma with no 3D but full 1080p.
Summary: It was great but came damaged during shipping. It had warranty so it got fixed for free. I would like anybody who love 3D picture TVs to buy this. It's a small theatre style entertainment but great value.
Summary: Bought this during the thanksgiving week. Price was acceptable after the drop. Wouldn't have bought it at the higher price. (below are the pluses and minuses - not in any particular order) Pluses: 1. Price. Panaonic's equivalent model costed more during my purchase (now about $50 less).
Summary: when this came I thought, oh my that's huge. as was told when buying a 3D tv to buy big as the glasses "shrink" the TV size they do. the 3D is amazing! so glad I went with active glasses instead of passive very little tweaking was needed on the picture out of the box.
Summary: Considering that the new-fandangle techie features on the 8000 work barely 50-60 percent of the time and the remote is cumbersome to use, save hundreds of dollars and get the E7000 series or E6500 series instead.
Summary: This is for all the other reviewers out there having a problem with the buzzing sound. As noted, a slight buzz is part of the plasma technology. When the TV volume is down or off, you can hear a slight hum. It's really minor, and once your volume is over 10-15, you can't hear it at all.
