Summary: The picture is pretty, but the "Smart Hub" software and customer support are awful. We've had this TV for a year. The interface has gotten worse with introduction of firmware updates. It is now slower and even more crash prone. Any calls to support are frustrating and rarely serve to solve the problem (usually my husband knows more than the support people and figures it out on his own).
Summary: IF SAMSUNG'S INTERNAL SERVERS GO DOWN YOUR SO CALLED "SMART" TV CAN NOT ACCESS ONLINE CONTENT. Recently samsung's servers went down and I could not access amazon, vudu, netflix or any other source of online content. I have sony, vizio, and panasonic internet connected products and I have never experienced anything like the slow, buggy, and intermittent at best, experience as with this samsung tv. Even when it is working their interface is awful.
Display needs replacing after less than 3 years of light use

Summary: My high end Samsung 52" 3D TV has developed a horizontal black line across the entire upper portion of the screen. The TV was made May 2010. Samsung reports they need $1000 to repair this problem since the display must be replaced. A web search indicates this problem is not rare. Beware of Samsung TVs. If you must buy a Samsung then also consider buying a very very very long term extended warranty that covers repairs such as mine.
Summary: Let me start by saying I was a Samsung Guy I still have a DLP from them. I had just bought the TV few weeks ago. Suddenly, the first one it didn't work, Amazon was great to replace that one without any problem and no shipping charges. After few weeks the second set started going darker when I use any of Samsung application and to make maters worst a horizontal violet line show up in the middle of the TV.
Summary: Length:: 2:17 Mins EDITED UPDATE 07/22/2012: CHANGED FROM 4 STARS TO 1 STAR. CRAPPIEST TV ON EARTH!!! So the TV was working fine for 3 months. 2 weeks ago there was a firmware update available under the settings menu. Ran the firmware update and was working fine for a few days. Then the wifi part of the TV stopped working. Tried factory reset, tried SmartTV reset (while the factory reset will reset the TV to factory conditions it does not reset the network settings.
