Summary: Worked fine at first, then it started turning off all by itself several months into owning it. Called Samsung, they had a tech replace the motherboard (over two visits). Now, I have a dead line showing up on the display after the warranty expired. This was a lemon from the beginning. Sadly, when it was working fine the picture quality was A+.. doesn't measure up in any other respect however (..and, Customer Service for Samsung is borderline horrible). Buyer beware.
Summary: The picture is pretty, but the "Smart Hub" software and customer support are awful. We've had this TV for a year. The interface has gotten worse with introduction of firmware updates. It is now slower and even more crash prone. Any calls to support are frustrating and rarely serve to solve the problem (usually my husband knows more than the support people and figures it out on his own).
Summary: This is our first flat screen. We have had it 3 months now. It included some sort of enhanced delivery/setup but all the delivery guy did was uncrate the TV and plug it in to make sure the thing powered up. Of course the stand has to be assembled and attached to the TV. Ports on the back are clearly marked. Your devices should be attached and powered up for the TV to recognize them but that is pretty much all you have to do for the initial setup.
Summary: When I ordered a TV off of Amazon Warehouse, they messed my order up. Instead of shipping me the 55" LG Cinema-3D edge-lit LED tv that I'd pair for, they shipped me a lower-model 51" Samsung Plasma with no 3D but full 1080p. I set it up and turned it on without realizing and when I saw the picture, I was BLOWN AWAY. The colors are SO powerful and VIVID, compared to the older 42" Vizio LCD that I had prior (which was still a great tv).
Summary: Beautiful tv super thin and amazing picture. Now the few tiny details. We have cable internet with wifi. The wireless antenna in the tv is ok not great and if you really want to use the Smart part of the tv such as internet browser streaming content etc, we ran a cat 6 cable thru the attic straight to the modem.
Summary: I have the 64 inch version and it is the perfect hub for our family media room. Picture is just stunning compared with the LCD TV it replaced. My son's XBox graphics with motion are simply amazing. We love the impressive 3D performance, and just wish Amazon had 3D content available to rent since 3D blueray disks are still in the $30 range. I get 45 channels of over the air TV and it is all amazingly clear and crisp.
Summary: I read so much stuff about this TV. A lot good and a lot bad. Amazon'a scratch n dent selection was very tempting because of the price. I've read delivery nightmares, sound quality reviews, picture quality reviews etc, etc. I eventually just said "go for it and find out". Absolutely everything about this experience was terrific. I love, love my TV. I can put my movies on a flash drive in almost any format and plug it in the TV and watch.
Summary: I love the TV, the 2D to 3D converts works terrific, I really wanted a 3D TV, for see movies with my kidm and it is great, really and amazing TV, when you play in it a Blu ray disc is amazing. The only bad thing about this, is the sound.
