Reliable, problem free, okay picture quality by 2012 standards

Roderick T. Dailey "FAMU", Amazon
15 April 2012
  • Summary: I bought this tv around 2010 and it has worked flawlessly since. I use it for gaming, tv, dvd, blue ray, etc. and the picture quality is good in most cases, but leaves a bit to be desired when there is fast paced action.

+1 to Support, very impressed

Anonymous, Newegg
18 April 2011
  • Summary: In dealing with alot of electronics and computers for 15 years I have rarely seen service of this caliber.
  • Pros: Great Picture, decent price. Plenty of inputs. Above average amount of troubleshooting/diagnostics features built into unit. VERY IMPRESSIVE support. When the panel went haywire, I called SamSung support. No hold time to speak of...A well spoken young lady answered and in about 10 minutes trouble...
  • Cons: TV panel went crazy in about 2 weeks. I didn't dock an egg because the support was very customer friendly, fast, and professional, making me want to buy Samsung again.

  • Pros: Excellent color, great blacks, lots of features built in, fairly light weight, quality construction, great value
  • Cons: Wish the audio out on the tv was variable when turning tv speakers off to eliminate using a 2nd remote for the amplifier

Great TV for the Price!

Kertis K Tomlins, Amazon
11 January 2011
  • Summary: I received this television as a Christmas gift. For the price the picture, clarity and high resolution display can't be beat! I compared it to other brands in the store and for the size and cost, there doesn't seem to be much competition.

Excellent TV

Megs04, Amazon
30 December 2010
  • Summary: This was an excellent TV, I just wish I would have paid a little more attention to the Hz and got a TV with higher than 60. I'm sure the clarity would be sharper if I did but overall still a great tv and HD channels look great with it!!

Samsung LN52C530 52-Inch 1080p 60 Hz LCD

farhan, Amazon
28 December 2010
  • Summary: The TV looked great but the lack of 120 Hz really showed. At 60 Hz the picture quality was not good, especially when viewing any tv source (cable, dvd, netflix etc) at its full 52 inch size. The picture was fuzzy and shadows would generate with every movement of an object on the screen.

dissappointing

whatman, Amazon
24 December 2010
  • Summary: Very dissappointing. Only since the store I purchased this t.v. from has a no questions asked, 90-day return policy for tv's, did I take a chance on the 60hz. I was trying to replace my 44in Panasonic lcd, which is about 5 years old.
