This TV has been a fixture of our household for over two years now. Great colors, deep blacks, BluRay almost pops off the screen without it being a 3D-ready TV... The quality of the TV picture has been well worth the money. Now, two years in, every HMDI port on the TV has failed. We now have to run all of our equipment through Component which not only degrades the quality of the picture, but it's also a royal pain to get up and change the cables every time we switch... I'm putting together a home theater with this beast at the center of it all. I'd have preferred the newer LED backlight technology, but Samsung isn't yet offering a 52" version of that product, and the 55" is too big for my desired location, and it's also currently just too expensive. The picture is wonderful, and its clean lines convey the minimalist design that I so covet. My only negative so far is the rather weak documentation that comes with the TV. Read more
the HD picture is incredible. watching sports is like watching a 3-d picture. clartiy & color is amazing. extremely easy to hook up esp w/ hdmi connections. it has been almost a month & we are still amazed at the picture quality whether sports, movies, cartoons or just regular tv & news. Read more
