Summary: I have been watching this TV for about a month now and considering it cost me less than $350 (a refurb) I can say it is a good product. I have another 40-inch HDTV that retails for about $1,000 and the picture quality is much better than this Samsung. Pros: 1. The menu allows for a great deal of control on the color, sharpness, sound and many more features. 2. The setup is very simple, right out of the box. 3.
Summary: My husband wanted a "better" TV than the LCD he had in his den. When he first turned the Samsung on, he was hooked. The picture is bright, sharp and the color is fantastic. We ordered the 40" due to space considerations, but now I am thinking of replacing the 42" in the family room. It is that much better.
Summary: Shows a little better contrast than the LG I bought earlier in the year. Setup menus are a bit hard to navigate, especially when setting up channels. Confusing, when told only two channels found, but fully programed the cable channels. A good value for the LCD lineup.
Summary: Needed a TV for the master bedroom, and for under $400, this fits the bill. Sound is ok, and picture is fine....all in all, it's a good buy at the price. I just cannot believe how much difference 55" is from 40".....lol. Getting older I guess.
Summary: The TV for the price when I purchaused it was a great deal. The picture quality is really good. Connective to other devices really ease. Only complaint is now USB connective for mp4s. Wish there was a software update that could fix that.
