    The picture quality on the Samsung LN46A650 is just gorgeous. The colors are vibrant and the blacks are truer than on any LCD TV I’ve seen. The HD display really makes a difference on movies and sporting events. I did find the default backlight setting a little too bright and caused some eye strain. After turning down the setting a few notches my eye strain was completely gone. Read more

    Since we already had a larger Samsung LED TV we already knew that we would like a smaller version for our workout room. The 40-inch size is perfect for the room it's in, plus it definitely has superior picture and sound quality.     Overall I am very happy with this purchase and wife loves it especially for the color edges gives a very upscale feel. Haven't used much of 120 Kz capability but even the SD channels come out crystal clear. If one thing I could change , was the PIP so my son can lay his WII and I can watch my sports show at the same time using PIP. Read more

    We have an open living room and combination kitchen area and this TV lights the place up! It's easily viewable from the furthest point away in our kitchen and allows us to cook, viewing clearly from distances up to 20(+) feet away. Beautiful resolution and awesome colors!     The inter-active menus dont truly display the full capabilities of 1080p or the 120Hz that the set is running on. It says 720p & 60Hz which makes you stare at the monitor to see if you notice image lags. It has a stunning HD picture, but often is difficult to adjust the screen to get rid of the black bars on the sides of the screen. When you do, it stretched the picture beyond the edges of the viewing screen. Read more

    I've had my Sammy Sung for nearly a year and it just died via the dreaded 'Power Cycle' issue. I had updated the firmware prior to the issue but I still got hit. LUCKILY for me I bought the TV 7/21/08 right here on newegg. Word of caution though, be sure to register it on Samsungs website to get he additional 90 days of warranty outside of the general year.     Awesome picture, mostly use for watching movies and playing video games.Colors and detail are amazing.Guitar hero is fun to play on a screen that looks this good and that big. Sound is not the best, but I run the sound through a home theater reciever. The swivel base makes it easy to get to all the connectors on the back.Buy it, you'll like it. Read more

    We really love our TV. We bought our Samsung after trying another brand (which we returned to the store) and the Samsung just has a much better picture. Even though technology has improved (LED backlights, 3D) since we bought our TV, I still love the picture every time I watch a High Def TV program or a regular or Blue-Ray DVD. Performance has remained fantastic and not a single problem since it came out of the box. Well done Samsung! Read more

The Samsung LN46A650 also includes new features such as InfoLink RSS that allows you to enjoy instant access to new, weather, sports and stock information by gathering up to the minute content from USA today and displaying it on your screen while you are watching TV anywhere in your home. Besides that, it also incorporates Auto Motion Plus 120 Hz and Ultra Clear Panel technology for more realistic looking action scenes by virtually eliminating any motion blur and creating a smooth transition between frames. Auto Motion Plus calculates the image between frames and inserts it, creating a non-repetitive transition from one to the next that result in clearer pictures. Not only that, the Samsung LN46A650 also has 4 ms response time capability that allows it to virtually eliminate any blurring to give you smooth-motion action scenes. Besides that, the Samsung LN46A650 also has a 50,000:1 contrast ratio for enhanced details in very dark or bright scenes to allow you to enjoy a more realistic, sharper picture quality. There is also an ultra clear panel that display panel colours more vibrantly than ever for brighter, clearer pictures that enhances contrast and reduces reflection so you can enjoy an overall outstanding viewing experience without the glare. Besides that, it also utilizes the ATSC/ Clear QAM tuner system. Additional features include game mode, HDMI –CEC, InfoLink (RSS) and wide colour enhancer.
