The LN40B650 is, as of this review, tops in overall picture quality compared with other TVs we’ve tested. It earned a score of Very Good. This is a great TV. I agree with the other posters about quality, look, etc. I also agree that the one BIG FLAW with the TV is that you cannot just dial in a station. We still have "rabbit ears" (yes, it's low tech and ridiculous, but we use the TV mostly for movies and don't watch a lot) and so the antenna has to be in the perfect position then you have to scan to hopefully pick up all the stations. TV is great, easy set up, a lot of fine tune features, sharp picture, vivid colors (very accurate), network connection allows to watch movies that are saved on your computer and I updated firmware just by selecting it from TV menu. In response to the game lag post, try turning off 120Hz mode; I saw the same thing until I turned that off. 120Hz takes some getting used to. For most things, I have it disabled because some of the effects it creates aren't appealing to me. Read more

This is by far the nicest TV that I've ever owned!! The picture is incredible, and I'm very pleased with my choice. You can fine tune everything to get the picture just the way you like it. The lack of PIP button on the remote is a little annoying, but not a deal-breaker. You need to drill down a couple of menu levels to control it, but it works and looks great. Watch out for MyPrice, it will preclude you from receiving any other "offers" that may be available. Read more
