Summary: really pleased with this Samsung 40". The only thing I would probably not include I I had it to do over would be the 120 HZ for $300.00 more. Other than that I am very pleased. I ordered on a monday and it came on Thursday of the same week by Pilot freight line right to my front door.
Summary: This is a great tv for the money. I compare this tv to a 42 Plasma Panasonic Viera that I've owned for about 3 years. I would rate the Viera slightly better as the Samsung still has a little bit of blur on fast action like sports.
Summary: My wife remodel the living room and it looked great except for that tube 32 inch-Zenith (love the tV, but too big) that took up the whole living room. So my wife gave me permission to buy an LCD.
Summary: We are really happy with this Samsung television. It's a great size and the 120hz make it great for watching sports. (It has different e-modes for sports, movies and games) The non-reflective screen makes for good viewing in our family room, which has lots of windows. It was easy to set up.
Summary: After a couple of months of research I finally made a decision and bought this TV. I was looking for the best technology for the money and for what I really need (not being an audiophile) this has impressed both my Wife and I tremendously.I was able to find it locally at national chain for $1099 on...
Summary: I originally bought the LN40A550 but after a few weeks I realized I wanted something a little better. I then went with the LN40A630 and I could not be happier. The quality of this tv is top notch. Standard television looks wonderful on it and High Def...well...it takes my breath away.
Excellent picture quality and features at a great price.. - Go for it!!

Summary: This is a great TV which has all the required features (1080p, 3 HDMI inputs, 120 Hz processing). Compared with LN40a650 it has one less HDMI port and has no info link (which is one of those fancy features with not much use).
Summary: I spent about 3 weeks shopping and researching before I bought this TV. I narrowed it down to the Samsung and the Sony Bravia "W" series, but after watching the two side by side at a store decided I liked the Samsung picture better. I've now had the 630 for two weeks, and it's terrific.
Summary: I worked really hard to find a TV like this and really felt good about it until a few weeks ago when the screen went blank in the middle of a football game. Samsung sent a guy out to see if it was the capacitors, which I guess can blow on this bird.
