Will go bad after 3 years but Samsung will fix for FREE!

Summary: As many others have stated. These TVs had bad capacitors on the power board. This is why it takes so long to turn on as it "warms" up. Call 1-800-Samsung. Even if it is out of warranty they will send someone to your house to fix this free of charge. Other than this, its a great TV for the reasons many have already stated. Good luck!
Summary: Well, three years seems to be the magic number. This TV has been perfect since we bought it almost exactly three years ago. A couple of weeks ago, we had a problem where when we went to turn the set on it would turn on, then off, on, off, for several minutes until it finally came on. We found online that this was a common problem and that it was probably a blown capacitor - a relatively cheap and easy fix.
Summary: I have had this tv for about 2 years or so, with no real problem....good picture and sound, etc, but it does bother me that it said it offered a pitcure in picture function...but the PIP is only for analog tv reception....which is no longer available...so don't expect to get picture in picture (one of the big selling points for me, and I am really disappointed). Other than that, I have been happy with the TV.
Watch out for infrared (IR) interference with other devices

Summary: Overall I have been pleased with this TV, until I bought a Roku media player. After buying this player came to realize that whenever the screen is dark, this TV generates IR interference and makes the Roku remote unusable. This means that if the TV is displaying the Roku's dark screen saver then you can't wake up the Roku device with the remote.
Great TV... but do not order from ""ELECTRONICS EXPO" from NJ

Summary: Excellent TV. But watch who you are ordering from. I have a problem with the TV that came damage during shipment. I have called several time to resolve the issue with exchanging it. They told me to contact the "Manufacturer" to fix the problem. So, I called Samsung and they had a tech to see the problem. When the tech saw the TV, he told me that Samsung with not replace the LCD screen. He told me, it would "COST" me $900 to replace it.
Summary: I ordered the product hoping the PIP feature would be the same as what I'm used to but it is not. It's useless for the application I'd hoped for. I'm still trying to figure out if I can use it at all.
Summary: This is a beautiful and sleek TV with a great picture and lots of nice adjustment features. Only problem was that it stopped turning on less than one month after I bought it. Not what you would expect from a $1000 TV. Waiting for a replacement from Amazon right now--I will give Samsung one more try.
Summary: Had a problem in the 1st week. The one horizontal line of pixels disappeared (became black). I had a black line in the middle of the screen. I called for a service, but it have fixed by itself. But I don’t have any other complains for that TV.
