Summary: great TV for the money! enough said. and so on and so on and so on and so on. blah blah. i love the quality of Samsung. I have another Samsung LED and it's a great TV also. If you do your research you'll find that Samsung was I believe the first company to make LCD/ LED tvs. The durabilty of the product is great!
Excerpt: I bought this LCD TV at Sam's Club to replace a dead 27 inch tube TV. It took two people to get the dead TV down the stairs and into the car to take back to the store. With this TV, I was able to carry it back up stairs by myself and with only one hand. Very light weight and easy to install on the wall. Easy to hookup and great looking picture. I immediately registered the product and downloaded the latest firmeware.
Excerpt: The Samsung LN32B540P8D is an LCD HDTV that features 720p high definition resolution, a 60,000:1 contrast ratio, and has superior contrast controls. It has three HDMI connections that allows you to connection DVD and Blueray players, or gaming consoles. It has cable input, HD cable input, and computer interface as well, so you can use this TV as a computer monitor.
Summary: I have owned this TV for about 2 years now and if it is still available, don't hesitate to buy it. I have it in my bedroom and at first it seemed a little big for my room, but I now just LOVE it. I read reviews about the speakers not being good...must have been an isolated case....MY SPEAKERS get very loud....there is no way I could leave them on the highest level and the quality is very nice. Picture is great. I have another Samsung 23" and love both.
Summary: This 32"-class LCD TV is the right size for our living room. Samsung has done their usual fine job of digital electronics design in the tuner - it is very sensitive and as good as it gets for the (inferior) US broadcast DTV standard. Picture quality is very good, not quite as brilliant as our previous Samsung CRT model, perhaps. On the other hand, the audio quality is better (and can be augmented with an external sound system).
Summary: This is overall a 5 star review. Set picture and sound quality exceeded expectations. However, I deducted 1 due to the initial appearance of the set. Yes yes, it is refurbished, but I didn't expect it to arrive looking... well "used". There were scuff lines running around the edges of the set that I was able to gently scrub away (mostly.
Summary: I have owned this for about a year now. Unfortunately, this particular model is not made anymore. Samsung is replacing it with the LN32C540. That being said, this is a good LCDTV for anyone new to the HD field to start out with. I'm sure the next 540 will be as well. Despite being only 720p, the picture (using a Sony upconversion DVD player [DVP-NS710H] and a Media Bridge HDMI cable) is amazingly crisp thanks to the customized picture settings I've done.
