November 9, 2008 I purchased the Samsung LCD HDTV yesterday from our most respected appliance dealer here in Long Island, New York. In the store the TV had the most varied and interesting features and I would say the best picture quality at any price point I compared. Samsung is a trusted name in electronics with a sound history of dependability. MY first HDTV. Ordered TV on Thursday, it arrived on Tuesday via CEVA. The whole thing took about 20 minutes for me to set-up. Setting up the stand involved screwing in about 7 screws and I was in business. I picked up a HDTV box with a HDMI port(Comcast) and hooked up to the TV. Pressed the ON button and--WOW! "After four months of ownership, I would now rate this TV three stars rather than 5 having just experienced the dreaded ROBOT AUDIO problem. Robot audio is the equivalent to video pixelation and renders the program unwatchable due to frequent sound distortions that last 30 seconds to several minutes.
