I bought two
8 August 2013
Summary: For the price, they are fantastic. I've had both of mine for over a year and they still work terrific. If you need something cheap for a kids room, or even your bedroom, these will do the trick! They have great sound and easy to set up with cable or satellite.
Summary: This TV works like my other Samsung TV, just smaller. I bought this TV because it would fit on my spare bedroom's book shelf. It has HDMI, USB and CATV connections, so the cable box, DVD recorder, laptop and Roku box all work with it -- and all can be plugged in at the same time. The display is full HD and the sound is decent.
Summary: Hooked up an amplified indoor HD antenna and this thing found over 100 stations in the LA area. Good picture and sound, nice remote. It made the PERFECT kitchen TV for Mom to watch while cooking, cleaning and eating at her place.
Summary: I ordered this online a few weeks ago after I was concerned about my old tv. I think it's pretty decent so far. The colors are an improvement over my old tv. There are some issues however I have noticed with it so far. The first is that there is a black bar that appears at the bottom of the screen (it only appears on on specific channel) that fades and reappears. It does not always happen, but it is somewhat bothersome.
Summary: I've had this TV for a month now, and I have been very happy with it. You do need to play with the settings a bit, but once I did I've been very pleased with the colors and the sound. The manual is not very good, but I found the menu to be fairly intuitive. Plus, while in the settings, there are captions for what many of the items do, so the manual is actually built in to the set. I would recommend it, and am considering their larger model for another room.
Summary: Picture is crystal clear. Product was very easy to assemble. Perfect 1080p HDTV for our kitchen. Glad to be able to see the screen in the kitchen again as our old television was not cutting it anymore.
Summary: Assembling TV we found that Samsung had enclosed the wrong screws for TV stand. Hence TV monitor remained unsteady and off-center. We called their consumer complaints department. spoke to rep, who asked that we send them the bill of sale, with details of complaint. We did this. All we wanted were the right screws, but instead we received a new TV stand, which came with no screws at all. Called and emailed Samsung again, twice. They have not responded.
Summary: Color is mediocre after trying hard to adjust it. Sound is "tinny" probably because speakers are at the back. Didn't have any problem attaching base. Using it in kitchen so it's almost OK. Wouldn't recommend this set.
Summary: I needed to replace my old bedroom TV, so I did some research and came up with Sony or Samsung. For the money, the Samsung was by far the best buy. I read all the reviews, most posted by men who wrote with authority, and was prepared for difficulty in setting it up, and then a less than great sound. However, price was as important as quality, so I went with the Samsung.
