I use this TV in my bedroom and it's the perfect size for my use. The set-up instructions were very detailed and yet still easy to understand. My biggest complaint about this TV (and this may not apply to most folks) is that the closed-captioning text is very small and the position of it interferes with the program. Read more
I replaced my 13 inch tube TV with this 19 inch LCD. It was very easy to set up with its plug and play feature. I agree with some customers that have commented on the poor sound quality. However, for 19 inches, this is a great TV. Read more
This TV is good in every way except for picture brightness and contrast. No matter how I tweak the picture adjustments, the picture often looks as though it is behind a smoky gauze. Even my old nondigital picture was brighter than this! Unfortunately, I believed that the 3000:1 contrast ratio would produce a dramatic picture! Profit from my gullibility. Choose another TV! This TV has a great high definition picture, not so much on digital channels that are not HD. I paid around $400 for this TV and use it in my kitchen. I would not pay that now for it since prices have come down. Probably would go with the 450 model on such a small TV, no real reason to spend the extra for the 650 and higher unless the Touch of color appeals to you. Like all Samsung products I've bought, works great. Using it as PC monitor and as a second TV for my bedroom. Just hooking it up to coax cable the picture is sharp and clear. Rented an extra cable box and the High Definition looks as good as my Sony Bravia in the living room. It will pick up some high def stations off the coax cable and they look great.
