This is a very good high end TV that should satisfy most high end consumers. The construction and the aesthetics are almost perfect. The picture quality was very good. In fact it was even good enough for most high end gaming. There are a lot of input choices so that you shouldn’t be unplugging any of your devices, and the “Just Scan” option is an excellent –if not poorly documented – feature for PC users. Read more

To boil down a recommendation for a TV such as the LN-T4061F reviewed today, you have to ask whether you REALLY need to spend the money for 1080p. Will you be buying a HDDVD or Blu-ray disc player to compliment this TV? Will you be upgrading to HD cable or satellite service? Dreaded clicking, delayed power on, and spots - DO NOT buy this TV

Had this TV for a few years, and started recently getting the clicking sounds and delays when turning it on. There is a big delay between when you hit the button and when it actually comes on, it clicks several times before you get a picture. Once or twice a week, we get green spots on the screen, and have to power the TV off and then power it back on. Read more

Over the past month or more,When i turn the tv on the screen had a Magenta hue to it. The entire picture was in shades of magenta.I'd turn off my Directv box assuming it was a problem with the satellite, and after turning it back on, the picture would be fine.I figured the satellite was the problem, until one day i turned the Tv off and then back on, which also corrected the magenta issue.This led me to believe the Tv could be the issue,and not necessarily the satellite... - picture... not to little either. Beautiful sound and picture. 1080p, most of the TV is screen, where they hide the speakers and how they fit all the parts in there is ...
- Kinda a heat source, it's warm or hot even! Not so bad in the winter, in the summer though... The auto sound isn't so great? PiP is still a mystery? I'm no TV guru but...

This is our second Samsung 4061F. We've had the first in our bedroom for a year and have loved it. The best part is that we have a really cheap cable to an HD antenna in the attic and our HD signal is fabulous. The HD receiver in this unit is great. We bought the second for our excercise room. Comments about Samsung LN T4061F 40: We needed something impressive in the lobby as we usually have a lot of clients waiting for our professionals. Samsung makes such a nice design that we couldn't help ourselves but choose their make. This one was pretty fair. The quality is amazing, even plugged via vga to the receptionist's pc. Extended the monitor screen to it and we have it playing our screensaver hours on end. We practically never turn it off. Read more

This TV is being used as a large format display for a PC and laptop presentations in a conference room. The quality is very good for this purpose as the larger the display the more likely there will be distortion or flaws with the images. This model is much better than other, more expensive ones we have tried in the past. Read more
