Excerpt: Wow! This tv is amazing!! My husband and I bought this television after much deliberation and research. We settled on this tv because it was a newer model with the ability to connect to the internet and great reviews. It has 240 Hz refresh rate which makes watching sports and fast action movies so much better. Our Wii games and Wii Fit programs look great. The 1080p is really well seen when watching nature programs -- you can see all the colors so much brighter and...
Excerpt: I got this TV from Amazon.com at a great price. It has a beautiful picture and works wonderfully. It looks great in my house and it is just packed with features. This TV, the samsung LN52B750 52 in., LCD Tv is great! I have never owned an LCD tv before and did a great deal of research. However, having seen several tv's in stores as well as at the houses of friends and family, I have never been more impressed with a television then I am with this one.
Excerpt: I got this TV on an open box special from Amazon. Talk about a great deal; for the price of a mid-range 46" set, I got Samsung's top of the line 52" LCD. I did a lot of research into the LED-backlit LCDs, which were less than a year old at the time I bought this set. I was almost ready to take the plunge on one of those, but started reading a lot of reviews saying that the edge-lit LED sets have non uniform lighting.
Excerpt: We purchased two of these televisions in June of 2009. One is in the bedroom, the other is in the family/living room. For some reason, the one in the bedroom appears to be a bigger screen. What is likely happening is that the room is a bit smaller and the television in the bedroom is the perfect size and the one in the living room is a bit smaller for that sized room. Our older model television was a 65 inch but wasn't high def. We miss the larger screen but...

Summary: My wife and I love this TV. I love the deep blacks and the very bright whites for a CCFL backlit model. The color is amazing also, and it is BIG. My wife really loves the 240hz mode for movies, it gives them a more 'real' look, I personally had to turn it down to 5 (120hz - I think)for me to enjoy Zombieland on Blu Ray via a PS3 Slim. Game mode is cool too. It brightens up the screen, makes it sharper, and speeds up the displays' response time from 6 ms. to 2 ms.
Summary: This set was very easy to set up and get going. I am running DISH Network and the HD picture is fantastic. The only problem comes when I run the audio through my Sony Home Theatre Amp. There is a delay in the sound so the person's lips do not match the audio. This can be a distraction. If you are just going to use the onboard speakers(they are just OK) then it is ok. But to get the surround sound you must go through the amp and you may have this problem.
