Summary: It does have everything that make Samsung so popular except it's not a Smart TV but I didn't want a Smart TV,heard it blocks online features but you can use the Samsung USB adapter,or an eithernet plug,or directly from monitor plug, and it's basically a Smart TV,wii-fi or a computer screen. Only downside is sound but it's a thin screen so small speakers.A sub-woofer will fix that. I have a Samsung Blue Ray Player BD-E5300,got it for 50.00 on sale and what a picture!!!
Summary: I bought this last year during the black friday sales as my first real tv. I live in a really bright apartment with no curtains (or means of using curtains), so I needed something that would not be easily affected by sunlight and glare. After reading Amazon and CNET reviews, I decided on this. PROS * Has a good, matte screen. It has very little glare with sun shining on/around it, and I never have to worry about seeing my reflection for most of a dark movie/game.
Excerpt: The Samsung LN46C630 Flat screen tv is one of the best televisions I have seen on the market. It has a picture quality second to none. It is very light and I have even hung mine on my wall which gives me so much more room now. It opened up my whole living room area. It was very easy to mount on the wall and the start up menu was very easy to follow and set up. The sound is fantastic and when the volume is turned up it has a theater sound to it that blows you away.
Excerpt: In my opinion, Samsung is the best TV manufacturer. They aren't outrageously expensive and the TVs are great. This TV has a great picture and is great for sports. You can see the color of the eyes of fans in the stands! I mean, that;s unbelievable! To think that you could see that on a television! This is also pretty light for its size, which considering its size is quite important. Especially since my house is up three flights of stairs. But this TV is worth that haul.
Excerpt: had an old tube television from about twenty years ago and it finally bit the dust. I was going to get a plasma but then I saw the picture quality on the Samsung models and was really blown away. I expected high definition to be an improvement on my old standard-definition set but I had absolutely no idea the difference would be as big as it is. The forty-inch size is somewhat bigger than my old set, but it is nothing like going to the movie theater.
Excerpt: i got this tv not too long ago as my old tv broke because my kid hit it with a bat. so far i am impressed! this tv is a little more expensive than others but the pictures are amazing, and it will take you a short amount of time to adjust it. the sound is perfect and much better or 150% better than the others.a cool gadget is that the remote lights up. kids love it!! hmm the color isn't so appealing, and it has universal problems.
Excerpt: My husband has been pining for months to get a flat panel big screen. This is the one we decided on because it was the best compromise between size and price. The picture is crisp and the speakers are pretty good, although they aren't as loud as an external speaker system. This is my first flat panel tv so I don't have anything to compare it to as far as Plasma, LCD, or LED. The resolution is great and I believe it was a good buy for the price.
Summary: This tv has great picture quality... almost, but not quite on par with, some of the previous sets i've had including the Sony nx720 and a samsung plasma d7000. While still a slight notch below those two others, this set competes nicely at a fraction of the other's cost. Its black levels are fairly good and are very consistent.
Summary: I did a lot of research before purchasing this TV. This Samsung is very well reviewed as a TV that delivers an image that is superior or better than most of it's competitors at a substantially less price. The TV lives up to all of the accolades it has received! I bought this TV to upgrade my samsung 32" 720p. I have been very satisfied with the 32" TV in all areas except the speakers; voice and speech was too quiet during movies even with the volume turned way up.
Summary: Got my Samsung LN46D630 46-Inch LCD HDTV about a week ago... Paid $734 to my door through Amazon.com It was purchased and shipped by Vanns. This is/was my first flat screen and I did some serious research before deciding on this brand and size.. When I first hooked it up I wasn't that impressed, but that was due to my own stupidity. I didn't realize that you have to have your cable box upgraded to HD.. DOH!...
