Summary: Great picture, solid color, sharp, clean styling, and very decent sound. Cons- Not a huge fan of the menu system though. More confusing than it needs to be. Really need an auto-detect source feature with all the different inputs it has available that way you're not hitting source four times to...
Summary: This is typical Samsung quality. Bright, crisp, clear. Great color saturation. I'm using it as a computer monitor for my media center PC, so I run DVD, mk4, avi and Netflix. All look good. My setup puts me 6' from the screen, so I would definitely notice flaws.
Summary: I purchased this HD TV for my 86 year old mother so that she could watch Golf and Football in more detail. Very easy to set up and program. Good, sharp picture and sound. Simple operation. She did not need a lot of bells and whistles that would only frustrate and confuse her.
Summary: I purchased a Samsung LN40D630 and found the product very good but the purchase process extremely cumbersome. The process problem: 1) I purchased it for another family member and did not enter the family member's address - it was impossible to change once the order was made for contractual reasons...
Summary: Has the great image quality of Samsung. Came well packed and properly documented. This was bought for hooking up to a computer in an instructional facility. The manual specifies a number of configurations to get computer image and audio to display.
Summary: This is a great TV and the "Clear Motionrate" technology is fantastic! It brings to life HD shows and SD shows and even video files. This TV has plenty of connections for the tech junkies and I love the Allshare technology which means all of my DLNA devices can see each other and play video, music,...
Summary: THis was my first LCD TV purchase . Been watching in the dark ages until this. What an eye opener. Beautiful picture. The connections aren't all that clear - even with the manual in hand. The manual also indicated that this TV MUST take a $50 Samsung adapter to obtain a wireless network.
Summary: In case you are in a hurry, I will begin with my conclusion and recommendation. Buy it! The quality of a Samsung over its competitors is well worth the few extra dollars you might spend over the other brands on the market. See, that wasn't so bad, was it.
Summary: Purchased this LCD T.V. for the family room and have been fairly pleased. I wish there were a few more options for the screen setting but you pay for what you get. I've been very happy with the picture quality for a TV in this price range.
Summary: I purchased this TV because I wanted a bigger screen (40in. vs 26 in.)and was replacing a Samsung with another Samsung. Overall I am pretty satisfied with my new TV. The only reason I am rating it 4 stars is because it proved to be a little bit more difficult to set up than I had hoped.
