Great picture audio not so good
Michael J. Mclaughlin, Amazon

Summary: I bought this because Samsung has really seem to make great HDTVs as I have always bought only Sony. Initial setup very easy and the picture is outstanding ,but the audio is poor quality so I am ordering a Soundbar to compensate for this obvious problem. I have adjusted the setting to fix this issue without much luck.
Summary: Samsung TVs have good sharpness and color. But, in my opinion and the opinions of many others I know, they have an annoying quality to the picture that makes everything look like "video." Like the way an old-time soap opera used to look. Watching a Samsung makes you feel like you're looking at actors on a set, not a show; the film-like quality is completely gone and replaced with a "video" look. It's hard to explain but look at them in a store and you'll see what I mean.
Summary: I bought this tv 3 weeks ago. One of the reasons I bought it was a friend bought the C630 last year and it is a great tv. So, I had a personal referral. One of the features that's been written about here in the reviews as a major selling point is the AutoMotion Plus. In fact, it's what separates this tv from the rest of the pack. Unfortunately, I'm not able to use without an irritating slip of the image every 57 seconds or so when playing blurays.
Good for a year then there is a serious flickering bug. GET AN EXTENDED WARRANTY!

Summary: This television is terrific. You get great picture for the price but you MUST BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY because right around the year mark the tv starts flickering and Samsung hasn't been the best about admitting this defect at all. There are many forums posted with people who did not get the warranty and samsung denying the problem.
Summary: It is a nice TV. The picture quality out of the box is stunning when it is on a TV channel that is broadcasting a high quality HD signal. So why only 3 stars from me? 1) Cost. TV's like this one cost about twice as much as they should (compared to the last TV you bought). Based on cost, they're all a 3/5 in my book. 2) Setup. The TV I bought had trouble initially detecting the TV cable signal during "Plug & Play" start up.
Great TV, but light leaks from the bottom 2 corners

Summary: I bought this on a whim at a local big-box store after seeing true blacks beat the competing LG 47" model. Everything about the TV is incredible, especially compared to the 32" Toshiba LCD it replaced. The display settings are all adjustable, for example, "Auto Motion Plus" with 1-10 settings for both blur and judder reduction. It has a USB input on the recessed side and can play Divx AVI files, XVID, and a few video files types.
Summary: I bought this hdtv back in march and looks great to this day. Picture and sound quality are great, altough colors did seem more bright in store but, overall im satisfied with it and couldnt ask for anymore. The only bad thing I can point out about this tv is the power button on the tv itself, I touch it several times and it does not turn ON or OFF it must have been defected.
Summary: We bought our Samsung HD TV in April 2010. It worked like a champ, with a beautiful picture and great sound--right up until a month AFTER the warranty expired when, in the middle of a program, the screen suddenly went black. The audio still worked; but after a few minutes that, too, quit. We finally called a repairman to fix a 13-month-old TV. (We have not heard back from him yet, but early indications are it will need hundreds of dollars worth of repair!
Summary: I was a little nervious ordering a big breakable product online but everything worked out great. Delivery was delayed a few days because of our remote location ( Key West ) but we are used to that. The TV arrived right after the driver called to schedule the drop off. Unpacking and setup were easy even for a geezer like me. I'm glad I did a lot of research on CNET.com that helped getting the right set for my room size and all the features I wanted.
Summary: This is a solid TV. Our first one from Amazon was broken when we pulled it out of the box (no picture at all), which was disconcerting, but the replacement we received works nicely. Very good picture. Easy to set up. Fairly lightweight. Not as thin as LED TVs, but not bad. I couldn't be happier about these things. I've been having some trouble getting a good signal with my antenna.
