Summary: Please don't waste your money on this TV. If you do buy it, get the maximum warranty because my $1500 Samsung LN46B650 lasted nearly 3 1/2 years. I only purchased a 3 yr warranty but I understand there was also a 4 yr warranty. I've had better picture and especially sound quality on other TV's and they have lasted a minimum of 10 years without any extended warranty. If I were you, I'd invest my hard earned dollars in a different manufacturer/model.
Summary: I have had this TV for just over 2 years and it started having vertical color bluring and image ghosting. Checked online and found hundereds of other people with the same TV that are having the same issue. Called Samsung and was told too bad since it was outside of their warranty. $1400 is a lot of money to spend on a TV that only last 2 years; It's a lot of money to give to a company that doesn care if you are happy with their product; it's a lot of money to give to a...
Summary: I also have this the issue noted from many of the the other reviewers. Just after two years this TV started with all the banding. It sounds like Samsung is not going to step up and admit that this TV has this problem and give us a fix. I have the previous model Samsung to this one also, and it is still going strong. After this one failed and the all the other reviewers who's also failed I will not be replacing it with another Samsung.
Picture was great, just didn't last past two years!

Summary: I bought this TV in May of 2009. Just a little over a week ago, all of these lines appeared on the TV. They covered the entire picture and even though the picture was being displayed behind it, you could not get rid of the lines. I tried different inputs thinking (hoping)it was just that input, but unfortunately that was not the case. I called Samsung support, they had me try one other thing and the lines were still there.
Summary: We bought this TV in 2009. A month ago vertical colored lines started appearing in the middle of the screen. We looked online and found many complaints about this issue with this TV. We called Samsung and they said they haven't heard of any complaints. That it would be $160 for someone to look at it and then about $600-700 to replace the panel. This TV has a definite defect. Beware.

Summary: Two years ago when I bought this TV I thought I was being very careful and making a good buying decision, turns out I was mislead by Samsungs very confusing presentation of the specs. Features I thought were there weren't and some features you'd expect to be there like s-video input, are completely abscent! If I had to do it all over again, I'd buy a Sony! At least with them you know what you are getting! *** Update *** Definitely avoid this TV!
Summary: awesome picture quality. aesthetically pleasing bezel. (the red doesn't stand out too much, if you're worried about it clashing with your furniture or whatever.) haven't tried to watch a bluray yet, but even crappy quality movies from my computer (480p) look great. the 120hz and 100000:1 contrast ratio make for a realistic viewing experience. also has ethernet jack for the internet interface (weather, downloads etc) a nice little extra.
Summary: This TV has an astounding picture quality. Read all of the reviews of the A model, listened to sales people in the store and went with the B which is the 2009 model. I am not a techie so you will need to look elsewhere for that but I would highly recommend this TV. One little note, the manual is located on a Flashdrive that plugs into the TV. Hooked up the digital camera to show pictures. It was easy, I didn't even need to refer to the directions.
Summary: We originally got the A650 (2008 model) in July of 2008. After just 3 months, we started getting sporadic and random green "lightning" on the screen. Samsung attempted to repair the unit THREE times over a period of 9 months, but the problem kept coming back. Finally they agreed to replace our unit with the B650 (2009 model). We got our brand new TV (not refurbished) in June 2009. We were so happy because the picture quality of this TV is just the BEST.
