Bought 2, both have failed, Samsung utterly useless
13 October 2013
Summary: I bought 2 of these and both are unable to pick up HD channels due to faults and 1 also has a failed speaker. The engineering menu shows 2 motherboard faults but Samsung wants nothing to do with it. I read reviews like this and always think "this bloke obviously is doing something wrong" but I assure you, this time, I am not and both of these TV's have been faulty since the day I bought them.
Summary: I have this one for 10 monts now. Perfect picture, good 3D effects with even poore tv signal Except 2D to 3D conversion effect is "inside" TV. To get proper 3D "coming outside" from your tv, it must be SBS (Side By Side)3D or similar. TV stand looks very nice but it's not flat, so it not so easy to manage sometimes.
Summary: I have had the tv for a few week now it took a while to set up but overall it is very good, I do think the internet side lets it down a bit, to connect wireless you need a special samsung dongle at an inflated price.I connected with a cable but found the choice of tv chanels you can obtain on the net is limited to the bbc iplayer.
Summary: I Bought this 3D TV along with the Samsung Blu Ray 3D DVD Player & Glasses package set just before the VAT hike. I thought I would wait a while before writing a review. I must say its a brilliant TV. It takes around 5 mins for your eyes to adjust to the gliggs but the perception and clarity is simply mind blowing. Firstly if your a sceptic of 3D I wouldn't blame you. I bought this due to me never owning a decent TV.
Summary: This TV is fantastic. The picture quality is great sound not too bad, will sound better, I think, through a decent sound system. The 3D is awesome the pictures really jump out of the TV. Haven't tried all the features yet still trying to figure out how to get the internet part to work. All in all an excellent product and I would highly reccommend it to anyone. Just a note though you can no longer get a free pair of 3d glasses through the samsung connect website.
Summary: I love this TV. I bought it from Dixons for £605 when Amazon were out of stock (for ages). Dixons did a great deal with a great stand and HDMI cables for £660. It's so realistic it's sometimes unnerving. It really does need a decent sound system though, the on-board speakers aren't so good, but that was expected. I bought a "Panasonic SC-BTT350 Full HD 3D Blu-ray Disk Home Cinema System - 4x Satellite Speakers" and now have the perfect system.
