Summary: I also snagged a Sony/Google internet TV for a $150 more and love it also, but wish it had as nice of picture as the Samsung. If I catch another deal on this tv, I will buy another one.
Pros: I also got this for the $499 deal and that was the biggest reason I bought it, but after owning this most of the winter, it is the best deal I've ever made. The picture is beautiful. The sound isn't too bad either. Plenty of inputs. The light feature on the remote is handy also.
Cons: Wish it had a Netflix app onboard, but maybe a firmware update will include it.
Pros: I picked up this beauty for $499 with a promo code, which was a phenomenal deal. The set produces a nice crisp picture in full HD, which I doubt could be beat for the price. I spent more time so far toying with DLNA features, which is fully supported with Windows 7 Ultimate, and Pro I believe. Wo...
Cons: It doesnt have some of the features of the more expensive TVs, but it was the right price so I can't argue that as a con.
Summary: I'm a plasma guy but for the price, only paid $499! I love this T.V. Picture is very well put together after a little messing around with the settings. Overall I would consider buying another one If my plasma wasn't so new!
Pros: Looks great, beautiful picture, and good sound! plenty of ins and outs! Can't wait to mount on the wall. Even shuts off my Blueray when I power off the T.V.
Summary: A very nice display panel overall. Not a fan of the rear facing speakers, but I don't use them anyways. Remember that the #1 thing that determines how much power your TV sucks down is brightness. It can mean the difference between 35w and 75w pulldown.
Pros: Sharp, clear picture Strong backlight Lots of inputs Excellent upscaling quality Good contrast Good viewing angles "Touch of color" edging makes it look a bit classier than the usual black.
Cons: Input labelling isn't user definable to differentiate between multiple inputs of the same type of device (PCs for example). The input name actually controls how the TV handles the signal coming into the set; it makes a certain sense, but it's not really naming an input, it's more of defining an i...
Summary: Hmmm...let's begin here...Been looking fwd to getting a HD TV for over an year..read reviews...tons of them..and then some. I decided to wait until I get something really good- 1080p, multiple HDMI ports (v important for me), Large screen, good price and a good manufacturer.
Summary: i actually received this set as from Samsung as a replacement for a 37 inch model that they no longer make. unfortunately, this television has also been plagued with problems. let me preface this by saying as far as picture quality and overall appearance go, this is a fantastic set.
