Summary: I bought this television at the beginning of 2012 and used it regularly, not constantly. The screen has now turned orange - the kind of orange that means it's completely fried. The nearest service is more than 90 minutes' drive away. For $500-plus, I expect a TV to last longer than a year and a half. My next TVs will not be Samsung.
Summary: I bought this tv and hoped that the Samsung name was still the best. Watch out, this TV sucks! I've now tried for about three weeks to make it work but it has a serious flaw in the design. The TV has three input ports, one of the TV, one for the DVD and a third USB port for a memory stick.
Summary: Samsung has the worst customer support. I bought a 37 " LCD last October 2011. It should still be under warranty, right? One year Samsung warranty? So I went to the Samsung web site and let them know exactly what was wrong with the t.v. I was told somebody would call me back soon. I called them Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Nobody from Samsung has told me how I am going to get my t.v fixed.
Summary: Bought a Samsung LCD TV three years ago and the screen recently went all white. This is a known production problem with Samsung screens (try Googling: Samsung white screen), but the company refuses to replace the defective set or pick up the cost of repair once it's outside of the meager 1-year warranty. I will never again buy a Samsung product. Buyer beware.
Summary: We bought this TV about 2 years ago and it was working fine until last week when it started taking longer for it to turn on. The sound up start would stop and start as if it was trying to come on, but then it would take several minutes for it to actually turn on. When I began looking online for possible causes,I saw that MANY people were having the same issue as us and eventually the tv would just not turn on at all.
Summary: Bought this as a gift. They had Direct TV come out and connect it to HD. It only worked for one day. They called Samsung who said the could not help and to call Direct TV. Finally Direct TV came out again and has determined that it is the TV. Samsung has still not helped them out. What a nightmare of a gift. I expected better customer service from Samsung and since they waited to long to connect the TV and to tell me, the return period has expired on Amazon.

Summary: Looked and looked at these TVs. Decided on this one for the bedroom based on reviews and seeing this set in a store. The picture is really nice, sound too. We were so happy with the picture quality that we decided to go ahead and order the 60" for the livingroom as an early Christmas present for each other on Monday. Glad we didn't now. We received it on the 20th at about noon, and it worked great for one week.
Summary: Although the price may seem tempting, I might as well not bothered seeing the issues I have ran into with two of these TV sets. Value for money is good and so are the features you get. Picture is clear and crisp and sound quality isn't bad either. However, I am now on my second replacement set! The first set had dead/stuck pixels in the screen which detracted from the actual viewing of the TV.
Summary: A great product, we bought this along with other Samsung products to complete a full home entertainment system and they all go together superbly. The TV is nice to look at, nicely made and, in common with the other components we bought has touch controls so no more clunky buttons to push. The picture is superb, even when watching ordinary TV.
