Summary: Bought this TV for my mother-in-law. She isnt all that good with electronics and wanted a no-frills HDTV. This TV fits the bill perfectly. The TVs picture is great and the sound is clear and loud. The bezel around the edge of the TV is not as big as it appears in the pictures.
Summary: After a white smudge appeared within the screen, I had second thoughts about the wisdom of the purchase. But my warranty was in effect and Samsung replaced the screen; a satisfactory outcome. As for the set itself. The quality of the picture is excellent.
Great price for this..sounds so -so but an easy fix

Summary: Got the 32inch flatscreen. Came in two days with amazon prime and in perfect condition. Everything was very easy to hook up and I was able to program my dish cable remote so that most of the changes to a newer system weren't even felt. The picture is truly sharp and crisp.
Summary: I just received my Samsung 37" LCD. Setting up was easy. Directions for programming could have been a little more specific. With so many different sets out there they made many assumptions that some of us novices might not understand. The quality appears good. I have a 60HZ panel frequency.
Summary: Bought this for my mother for Christmas. Replaced an old 200 lb Sony. Unlike my Sharp brand TV, I am having trouble with this Samsung staying in any particular picture mode. Sometimes when in a "wide and fit" mode, I'll change channels, and come back and have to reset the mode.
Summary: In 2009, I purchased a 46 inch Samsung 46B650 LCD for my family room and I loved this TV so naturally I got this 40 inch Samsung LCD for the bedroom in 2011. Samsung LED are better but I could not justified the cost difference and I rather put the cost difference in a larger LCD screen size.
