Good TV, but......

Summary: I have had this monitor/TV for 10 months and it has worked well. I use it for both ways with HDMI and get a good image. But it had a small white dot on the screen and had to return/replace it. Otherwise no problems.
Excerpt: I love the Samsung LN32C550 32 inch tv. I think Samsung makes excellent tvs and when I'm ready to buy a bigger tv...it'll have to be a Samsung! The picture quality is just excellent...crystal clear, sharp, and beautiful colors. I've seen other similar tvs from brands such as LG to Panasonic and I have to say my tv may have cost a bit more, but the quality of the picture way outshines the other brands. The only thing I sometimes have trouble with is the sound.
Excerpt: OK, so I think I'm finally ready to take the plunge into the world of high definition television. (Hey, I have a house full of cats, a bag of catnip and a lazer dot. I have never felt the need to look at TV much.) So, I go out and about to look at TVs. Wow. There's a whole lot to know (and buy!) when you want to watch television! I did what research that a patience-lacking person such as myself could do. I did learn a great deal about television.
Excerpt: I just got this tv for an early Christmas present and I love it. The picture is great and it is easy to use. I would reccomend this tv to anyone. I got this tv for a great price but it is sure worth the money. I had a little bit of trouble with the base, but i figured it out eventually. I wish i could be around to watch it more because it does have such a wonderful picture and the viewing angles are very very nice.
Excerpt: The Samsung tv is easy to use. The menus are not hard, although I am good at setting up technical things. The only problem is when the cable goes out for a short time you have to reprogram it. This does take some time.
Excerpt: The samsung- ln32c550 32 inch LCD TV has definitely been a great new addition to our household. I still am amazed when I turn on the television and look at the clear picture that comes out in high definition. Coming from an older flat screen, this television is definitely the future of technology.
Excerpt: We have enjoyed this television since the day we bought it. It has great picture and I like the touch buttons. It is easy to operate. My young children can use it. The remote that comes with it is great too. It is easy to use the buttons and easy to understand. My children can also use them. The picture quality is better than other televisions we have had in the past. We found a good deal on this television so that is why we bought it.
Excerpt: The LN32C550 is a great TV with its relatively deep blacks and fairly good colors. Hooked it up to my laptop via HDMI, set HDMI1 to PC, and it gave pristine 1:1 pixelmapping (in plain English - it acted as a big computer monitor and didn't crop or distort the picture). OTA tuner is pretty good along with its channel guides, if you don't use a set-top box. As I stated earlier the black levels on this model is very good for a 32" set, not complaints there.
Excerpt: Bought this TV last year. I always wanted a samsung TV, heard about it excellent quality. And I wasn't disappointed at all. it has a pretty solid graphic quality. i don't have cable so I usually play my ps3 with my friends on the tv and we all really enjoy it. I recommend this TV to whoever doesn't want the screen too bad, nor too small. This is a perfect sized tv for a small living room. it is also perfect for bedrooms.
Excerpt: The Samsung LN32C550 32 in. TV is in a class of it's own. I did a lot of research - both on the net and visiting most electronic stores in my area comparing brands, models, features and prices :) :D. I had my own battles with my wife (nd bro-in-law) over Plasma V/S LCD and me finally convinced us :) in favour of the LCD. LG and Sasung were the 2 right there neck to neck. The Sony ones seemed over priced with no definite advantage or features that the 2 did not have.
