Summary: My 2000 Sharp 25" stereo TV, placed across the room, was getting harder to watch, and the stereo effect wasn't very convincing, so I went to this 19" Samsung LCD television, placed right next to me beside my recliner. The image, being so close, is equal to or larger than a 32" or larger set across the room, and it's wonderfully clear and sharp. Itty-bitty speakers can't do much, so I have computer speakers placed alongside me to give me excellent sound.
Summary: I bought this TV to replace my old analog flat panel kitchen TV. Price and reliability were important but size was also a concern. I wanted it to fit underneath my wall cabinets and some brands and models were too tall. This fit perfectly. Some of the reviews mentioned sound quality but I'm not having any problems. I find that I need to use a louder setting than my other TVs, but I can hear it fine.
Summary: I am very pleased with this TV. I use rabbit ears because I am out in the country. It has a great picture and I can pick up lots more than with my previous TV. I like the size and clarity of picture. I would definitely recommend it.
Summary: I paid a little bit more than the least expensive 19 inch TV's because I wanted a better sound. Some of the others were rated as "tinny" sounding. This has good picture and sound. Set up was a breeze. I plugged it in, turned it on and it configured itself automatically.
Summary: I moved to a new city to start a new school. I was about to buy it so I can have in my dorm room but I got it later after I moved to my new apartment. After looking around at different models and brands, this particular model got the winning selection. The picture looks great, it's currently connected to my "old" laptop via VGA, and I can easily hook up to my Playstation 2.
Summary: I needed a 19" flat screen to replace my Sony 19" in my Airstream trailer. The Samsung is lighter and slightly smaller and works very well. It doesn't seem to be as loud and the mount fit in a different location but otherwise it was a good swap. The Samsung, being newer has a digital audio out which has been a conundrum to hook up to the existing speaker system but that isn't the fault of the TV.
Summary: Mostly good news---excellent picture, good from various angles. The only negative comment is regarding the poor sound quality which I discovered is a universal isssue with small screen TVs. I have purchased a Logitech speaker/sound bar(model Z515) which will do the trick. The speaker was usually $100.00 but was on sale for $60.00 I had redone my kitchen and did not want the old bulky Toshiba TV to detract so I thought a flat screen was the answer.
