Samsung 40" HDTV

Summary: I got this tv about a month ago and am very satisfied with it! Its got a beautiful design and the picture quality is fantastic! I haven't had the chance to try out all the features but my cousin has the same tv and his features are awesome, especially the infolink.
Summary: The picture quality of this tv is outstanding and it has lots of cool features. Great purchase for the price. The only negative is, the audio could be improved, but it's still pretty good audio.
Summary: The DNIe works great as far as I can tell, although only in Dynamic Mode. Some *built-in* modes are not setup very well. I haven't actually got anything to reach 1080p yet (HD SAT, X360 - 1080i) but I couldn't be happier with the HD picture as it is.
Pros: One of the best HD pictures I have seen and I honestly have the screen closer than I should (10ft at most). Love the TOC effect. Ordered on a Tuesday with a 10-day delivery date, but received that Friday (3 days!). I was nervous about ordering online, but everything went great and it was still $6...
Cons: Standard definition (SD), not so good. I do have a really hard time watching the SD channels over the HD channels and I dont think I am a HD snob. The jaggies can be seen jumping all over the areas of the picture when the camera or people move. The 120Hz is hard to get used to. Going from playing...
Summary: love the touch feature on the side of the tv for the power, volume, channel etc but wish it was lit up; the remote isn't that annoying plus it's lit up; the red isn't that prominent either; LOVE this tv..
Pros: super chic design, nice clear picture, lots of inputs, energy efficient, not heavy at all, internet, 1080p, music feature and picture slide show feature.
Cons: the 120Hz feat. is kind of pointless unless you're watching sports or something...i turned it off.
Summary: I researched the market for HDTVs for over 2 years before the price got to where I was willing to invest. The options I finally had to decide between were the Samsung 650 series and the Sony Z series.
Summary: First, this is an excellent TV and my review focuses on a few points missing from the other reviews that would have been helpful to know when I was "shopping" for a new TV - not that these would have prevented me from buying the Samsung.
TV broke within 2 months, but I can't change my star rating

Summary: I originally wrote this review shortly after receiving this TV but feel I must revise given some recent problems. Less than two months after receiving the television it broke: the screen "digitized" and now it will not turn back on.
Summary: Despite the many cons it is a NICE TV and I would recommend it to anyone who can clip the bill. I hope they fix the cons with a firmware update :-/
Pros: VERY, VERY nice picture. Lots of options and menus. I hooked this thing up to the internet too, HOW STUPID IS THAT?! It's nice to press a button and see what the temperature is outside or get the 5 day forecast. Even news headlines/articles! PS3 looks beautiful on this and it has plenty of inputs.
Cons: My biggest problem with this T.V. is the picture in picture (PIP). You can ONLY turn it on if you are on an input OTHER than cable and the small picture can ONLY be cable. You also can't switch which picture dominates the sound. You can't go to an input source unless that source is ON. This is an...
Summary: I bought this TV less than a month ago and I absolutely love it! The picture is breath-taking and the AMP is awesome. The thing I don't love about it however is the sound. I've been having audio issues with it. Every once in a while the sound cuts out for a split second.
