    If you're considering going a little bigger with your HDTV then rear projection DLP might be worth taking a look at, because the Samsung HL56A650 is a set that will turn heads--both for the picture, and the price. This set from Samsung's new 6 Series provides a lot of picture for a price that would be impossible to match with plasma or LCD. Read more

    I have had the HL50A650 for one month. The picture quality is as good as any plasma or lcd hdtv that I have seen. There is no trace of bluring or loss of resolution in high movement movies such as Transformers. The Amazon price for this hdtv was competitive and much, much less than the other technologies.     The rating by mvlong is wrong. Straight 5's across the board. The speakers are nothing to rave about but If you are buying a tv like this and are planning on getting by on 2 10 watt speakers you're crazy. If you want the same features from an lcd you are gonna pay 2 to 3 thousand. I am a 3d animator and spend all day looking at high-res photo realistic rendered images.
