Summary: I wanted to upgrade my 10 year old 25" basement tv, but I didn't want to spend a fortune. I found this online on sale for $398. Having read other reviews, it sounded like a good tv and it is. It has several different connections to attach DVD players/Game consoles, etc. Picture quality is great, sound is good. Very pleased.
Summary: For the price of this bundle you definitely get your money's worth these speakers are great and the television is super. I didn't even know it came with a DVD player so that was just a plus. Only issue I had was with the shipping process. It came piece by piece. First the wire arrived at Walmart and I thought it was the entire bundle so I was alittle upset. Then the speakers came then eventually the TV.
Summary: I read several reviews indicating they received a broken TV. I failed to listen because it was a good bargain. The TV shipping was delayed and when it came in the box was torn at the end. We took it home and on unpacking saw a crack in screen. Also, noted the TV had obviously been removed from the carton prior to our receipt and put back in inappropriately.
Summary: We bought this TV to replace a defective 46" Element LCD TV. When I first saw the RCA on sale it was the same price at $388, but waited too long and the price went up to $418. But even at $30 extra, it was well worth it! The picture is excellent on this TV. With very little settings tweaking it looks almost as good as our $800 LG does. With the Element, the picture was always looked a little muddy, but you could forgive that by saying "well, at least it was cheap".
Summary: We bought this TV November of 2011 and used it until end of April 2012. We are Florida "Snowbirds" who came back in November of 2012. The TV worked 3 weeks until Nov 21 and then - all blank dark blue screen, no sound! At first I was very disappointed with Customer Service. The TV was one day over warranty when I called for repair. Eventually I connected with OnCorps, the company that bought out RCA.
Summary: I can only give it one star for now. It took forever to get here, and was delayed in transit twice. When it finally arrived at the store, the box was damaged. I opened the box and checked it out before accepting it, and it seemed fine, the screen was intact with no cracks. So I took it home, set it up, and got everything hooked up to it, only to turn it on, and see blotches of colors, lines, and what looked like a bunch of cracks spider webbing out from the same spot...
Summary: picked it up from a local walmart , the next day, unboxed it , set it up. went to turn it on, it only would turn on for a split second and go pitch black. the LCD was cracked and broken in , tried to exchange it but walmart doesnt carry RCA supposedly , so took it back and ended up buying a tottally different TV. NEVER AGAIN will i do site to store with ANY electronic , its. .
Summary: The TV is very nice, especially for the price. Picture is great. Sound is a bit of an issue. While watching a show, it's difficult to hear people talking while there is background noise at the same time. The adjustments you are able to make are very limited. But, all in all, a great buy for the money.
Summary: I purchased this tv because I wanted a bigger tv. I had it shipped to my home and it came in two days and was easy to set up. You will need another pair of hands to help because of the size. The picture didn't seem as crisp at first but I adjusted it and it is much better. I did have those jaggles, as someone said, but after I adjusted the picture, I don't have them anymore. You can do this by going under Menu, Picture Settings, Picture Mode User.
