Summary: I am very fortunate that I was able to purchase this TV brand new in its original packaging. The TV is everything it is advertised to be. I was reluctant to pay the price but know that I have purchased something that still holds the standard in terms of picture quality and craftsmanship.
Summary: Nothing comes close and believe me I've seen them all. "Avatar" on blu-ray was jaw-dropping, "Bladerunner the Final Cut" blu-ray, a religious experience. Simply put, this is the best TV for 1080p pictures on the planet. If you can find one, grab it.
Summary: Everything about it. It has an excellent picture, great size.As pricy as it is the pioneer pro111fd is tops in plasma tv's.The reports on it were right.I decided to get it because pioneer is no longer making plasmas unfortunately. The pro 111fd is hard to find anywhere.
Summary: Just received my PIONEER Pro-111FD TV/Monitor on Feb. 12th, 2010. The first thing I have to say is WOW! what a phenomenal detailed, colorful and accurate picture. Blackest blacks, most colorful colors, & super fine detail. The features are mind blowing too!
Summary: Best 50" TV out there, bar none! I saw one at a friends house and then decided to purchase. This TV has AWESOME blacks, AWESOME color and AWESOME detail. They are becomming much harder to find as Pioneer is going out of the plasma TV business. :-(
Summary: I recently upgraded from a Samsung 61" LED DLP which wasn't too shabby. I spent a good 3 or 4 months crawling around various electronic stores in Manhattan comparing models and was finally able to hunt down a Pioneer Elite Kuro PRO-111FD at an insanely low price ($2499).
Summary: Have had this TV for a few weeks now. I researched the entire Samsung LCD and Plasma line, looked at the XBRs from Sony and some of the higher end Panasonic plasmas. I used 12 criteria to evaluate each of the 16 TVs I looked at.
If it's not a Pioneer Kuro, then how good can it be!

Summary: This Plasma TV is incredible. All the high praises regarding the Pioneer Elite Kuros is sooo true. It has many user picture adjustments that can vary from highly techincal to downright simple for the non purist who just wants a good picture using the Auto (Optimum) feature.
Summary: This is hands down the best picture I have ever seen. I was somewhat hesitant about buying this product as Pioneer is no longer going to be making them, as I understand it. But after all the research and the price coming down to $2,800 I had to go for it. I love the picture.
