Summary: This was my first HDTV (purchased Nov. 2006) and it's still my favorite for picture quality. Plasma is amazing. I was sorry to see Pioneer stop manufacturing HDTVs. Samsung has taken over as my preferred brand, but I love this Pioneer.
Summary: Hi, I bought this Pioneer disply unit for my hometheater screening. i wont talk about how good is this unit as many readers covered that but i will talk about a question that many are asking allot, which is better, the Plasma or the LCD display unit?
Summary: This TV is exactly what I expected-- it has a great picture with sharp blacks, vivid colors and high definition. Some of the "local" channels still stink as the picture will only be as good as the feed received. I really like the extra stuff on this set.
Summary: The details are certainly plentiful here. I'll just say that the 5070 changes your perspective about TV viewing. Forget watching regular signal on your old CRT. That won't cut it. I pretty much watch the 5070 or nothing at all at this point.
Summary: After much research I settled on this plasma and could not be happier with my choice. It is very easy to use and set up right out of the box. The picture is stunning and there seems to be absolutely no issue with burn-in of any kind. I highly recommend this plasma.
Summary: First off I purchased the new Panasonic 50" tv because it at the time was $450 cheaper. I quickly realized how big of a mistake that was. The panasonic had a great picture but was overtaken by the BUZZING NOISE I kept hearing from the back of the TV. The TV was just awful.
Summary: Pioneer is the one best plasma displays you can get for your home. I've owned this beauty for six months now. I bought this after months of research in various online forums. HD channels show up in amazing details and colors are vivid.
