Summary: Bought it from Costco in March of 2012. Not even a year later it won't turn on-- it just keeps restarting itself over and over. The splash screen comes up and as soon as that would normally go away, it turns off then back on, and repeats. I've left it running for hours and it keeps doing this cycle. I contacted Costco and we did some basic troubleshooting. I also did some on my own (checked A/C voltage, etc).
Summary: Bought this television in the middle of November 2012, on January 13th the television would not turn on.I took it back to SAM's with the receipt. They told me I needed the original paperwork and the receipt or they couldn't take it back. I asked to speak to a manager and he happily let me exchange the television.
Summary: 4 months after I bought it, upgraded the firmware, it now shuts down and keeps restarting on its own! What a disappointment. Picture is so so. Ok when bright daylight scenes, contrast is piss poor and images are extremely grainy when scenes are in dark interiors or at night. You can definitely find something better for your basement.
Summary: This is a very nice TV. Easy set up, has an excellent picture with a lot of features. Easy connect to the interenet,the lap top set up tends to run slow because band width, I think this can be corrected. Overall 4.5 rating I would recommend this TV as a good value TV.
Summary: I bought this TV in February of 2012. It has twice failed with a power suppply issue. The first time (May 2012) it kept power cycling, i.e. on then off then on then off. Under warantee it took four weeks to get it fixed. It has just died again, July 2012, won't power on again. It has been eleven days and Philips just assigned a service provider to even come look at it. The service provider they contract with says they can't come to my house for another nine days.
Summary: Picture is very good, wireless internet and net tv are very good also. Can use as a computer monitor wirelessly also which is AMAZING! It would be GREAT if Apps could be added like Skype, or ebay, etc etc. Love Youtube and Pandora , Netflix is ok, would be better if they had an easier search method.
Summary: Product delivered on time and was in great condition. Initially had problems getting enough bars for the internet. Contacted Phillips support and received excellent service. They advised on the maximum range the TV had to be from the router, since mine was futher than recommended, they suggested I purchase a wi-fi extender. Did so and have excellent service. Love the built in apps and sleek look of the units.
Decent Picture, TERRIBLE user interface, and inflated feature set...

Summary: Ok I'll make this short and simple. The TV has a decent picture, it's 55 inches and has pretty uniform picture with respect to brightness and contrast. Once you've managed to get what you want to watch on the screen, it's a great TV. But the user interface of this thing is utterly terrible. It require patience to do the simplest of things.
