Summary: I guess the price should have been enough to scare me off, but I decided to take a chance on Phillips vs any of the other off brand manufacturers. It took over 3 weeks to get the unit to the store. I picked it up the same day, took it home and hooked it up to find a line of dead pixels running right down the center of the screen. Best Buy took the unit back the next day with absolutely no qualms and offered a comparable TV that was in stock at the store.
Summary: Hello to anyone considering buying this piece of sweaty garbage wrapped up in an LCD TV casing. I researched this product extensively before purchase and didn't find any major or even minor issues. However, upon purchasing said piece of trash I found my personal experience to be a little bit different. It has been less than two full months and I dared to undertake the extraordinary task of turning on my television so that I could watch it.
Cons: It completely breaks within 2 months of purchase
Summary: When I first got the TV I was amazed by the picture. But after a few months the volume stopped working. I had to turn off the tv than turn it back on to fix it. Then after 9 months the TV started turning off and on by itself and changing channels. Philips sent a repair man and the problem was fixed for a while. The repair man said this was a known problem with these TV's. Then it started happening again. I called Philips and they said tuff there was nothing they can do.
Summary: I bought the television thinking that it was going to have a good picture quality but it didn't. The picture quality isn't clear at all and I'm a very angry customer. The digital Crystal Clear Engine is a bunch of boloney. This was my first time buying a television online and it might be my last. Thanks for a horrible experience.
