Bought this TV a couple years ago and now all 4 HDMI ports dont work. Contacted tech support and of course I got the run around and conveniently out of warranty. Of course they were more than happy to refer me to several service centers at my own expense. I will not be buying another Philips and would recommend you dont either. Read more
I worked at Wal-Fart for 1 year and 3 months. The televisions were set up in electronics for 2 years. The Phillips brand televisions all went out within 2 weeks of each other all various models on display. They were the only brand of television in Wal-Fart that went out right around 2 years the rest were still running strong 24/7 365 days a year. Read more

It may be Refurbished but seems perfect so far after about 2 weeks of use. Very easy to set up and I was even able to find the code so I can control it with my DirecTV remote. I only gave the features 4 stars because we haven't used many of the options yet. But I just got a DIV to HDMI cable (also ordered from Overstock) and can't wait to use it to hook up my laptop so we can watch streaming movies and tv shows from the internet on our beautiful new HD tv! The Philips 42PFL7403D features a 42-inch Full HD LCD TV 1080p ready technology with image aspect ratio of 16:9 and a dynamic backlight system with proprietary filters built into the screen to deliver high contrast ratios of up to 29,000:1. It is designed with Philips Digital Natural Motion to eliminate the on-screen flickering of images from recorded and broadcast movie material producing uniform picture viewing. my dell pp33l studio laptop used to display on the philips 47pfl7403d. had ssb (main board) replaced for remote issue, has since quit displaying the laptop via the hdmi direct connect. Is this my set or the laptop?
