Summary: Do not purchase tv it want last ..lost picture right after my three year extended warranty..Phillips customer service sucks!!I will never purchase another Phillips product again this was my first and last purchase..a tv suppose to last more then 3 years!!!
Summary: If I can offer any recommendation about this TV, I would say DON 'T BUY!!! It won't last!!! I bought my Phillips 40 inch LED HDTV after doing a lot of research and product comparisons. I figured I'd go with Phillips because it is supposed to be a reputable company with a quality product. Boy, was I wrong! I've only had my tv about three years and it's already dead! Three years?!?!?! Is that how long a television is supposed to last these days???? That's unbelievable!
Summary: Purchased this item new. Showed up in a timely manner, but the box was not in great shape upon arrival to the point that the styrofoam packaging materials supporting the tv were broken. Not a good sign. TV stand mounting screws (4 total) were missing, so conctacted Philips via their "chat" room and via phone; for whatever reason, their chat room could not help with missing parts, only technical support. ???
Summary: We own a number of Philips products and will comment only on the company's customer service, which is either appalling or non-existent. Philips does not respond to email or phone calls. The company does not answer or respond to letter mail. With Philips, you're on you're own after they make the sale. This once-respected brand is now a minor player in electronics.
