Summary: We were very disappointed with our Phillips refurbished 40 inch flat-screen TV, and very surprised that Walmart would OK the sale of this item. This item was purchased on-line, and shipped FedX. The above ratings are inexact, as picture quality, sound quality, and features could not be checked, as no power cord was in the poorly re-wrapped package. Nor was there an owners manual, registration/warranty card, or batteries for remote.
Summary: The picture is amazing when stuff is bright, sadly when movies are shows are darker. Picture goes down to being fuzzy and then there is white ghosting all over the screen.. If this tv is for kids that watch a lot of cartoons, perfect tv. Also hd quality is ok, blu ray movies look less than what they should be. Being led it should be crisp and clear and just wonderful. It's lacking this sadly.
Summary: I had high expectations for this product considering the reviews on walmart.com and the name quality of the brand. Unfortunately, this product was defective the moment I took it out of the packaging. I connected the television, but the picture would not display. Although I couldn't see the picture, I could hear the sound on my television. I had to return the product to the nearest Walmart store.
Summary: First of All, the package came without any cords except the power cord. I saw the dust, and bad packing materials used for the packing. The picture quality surprisingly dull no matter whatever the mode I changed.
Summary: Philips website has a lot of info on this HDTV, so I will skip the specs. > Most quality electronic devices fail shortly after initial usage, so refurb units are usually those early fail units that are totally gone over and repaired/replaced by a manufacturer's facility. I have always had great success with them. > The (used) box had some exterior damage - which wasn't unexpected. WalMart associate opened the box and the TV was undamaged.
Summary: I've only had this TV for about a month now, and so far, I'm incredibly pleased with it. Great picture, plenty of HDMI ports, easy menu and settings, and great sound. Would definitely recommend!
Summary: Unfortunately, I was never able to view anything on this TV because it came without a power cord. I thought I had scored big by finding this TV refurbished for a great price, but all I got in the box was the TV. This was after shipping was delayed twice.
Summary: Have had Philips TV's before and liked them. Did not have a problem buying a reconditioned TV so when I saw this, I bought it. Arrived quickly in good condition. Only thing missing was the owner's manual but found that online. TV is easy to set up. I'm using an indoor over-the-air antenna to pick up local channels. Won't pay ridiculous prices that cable and satellite want. Picture is very sharp and clear. The HD programs are gorgeous.
