Summary: Bought this product in April 2007. Within 2 months, the main board failed and was replaced under warranty. In March 2009, I got what is starting to become known as the red blinks of death. The TV wouldn't turn on.
Summary: I paid $1200 for this TV in 12.2006 & as of 02.02.09 it is nothing more than a very heavy paper weight. It gets 1 star for the Ambilight but even that is generous. Please don't make the same mistake..buy something else!

Summary: I bought this TV back in December of 06 and it just died March 08! I was watching TV one night and the next day it would not turn on, I would just get a flashing red light. I am told its a faulty signal board or power board.
Summary: We bought this LCD from a large retailer. Picture is fantastic, ambilight is beautiful. Reliability terrible. After 12 months & 2 weeks (of course after manufacturers warranty expired) it failed. TV will not turn on and picture would go black while it was on.
Summary: We bought the Philips 37" LCD TV in August of 06. It stopped working and would not turn on in November of 07. We took the TV to the Philips recommended repair shop. Their first repair did not fix the problem and there it sits waiting for parts.
Summary: I purchased this tv for $1,300.00 on Dec. 27, 2006, on Feb. 28, 2007 it would no longer turn on. I have contacted Philips and they have been completely unsatisfactory. I have since googled and found hundreds of consumers who have had the same problem and recieved horrible customer service.
