Summary: Picture was great, audio was okay. Worked for just under 1 year, then the picture went out. "Known problem". Hrmmm. Philips has been great about the return (after 3 weeks, and a 1 week delay because I printed the "wrong" invoice), and I'm awaiting the replacement, but this was a huge hassle.
Summary: Received this product the next day with Prime membership. Easy to set up and get up and running right away. Picture quality is great! Sound is pretty amazing for the price I paid for this as well. Only reason I gave this 3 stars is because of the smell. You know how when something eletrical burns out, it gives out a certain smell. As soon as I opened the box, I could smell it like something was burnt inside the TV.
Summary: In the end it is the picture that is the most important and this one is very good along with great surround sound. The menu and remote control is what makes the TV easy to use and hassle free. In this regard it is only mediocre. It seems little thought was paid to a fully functional menu system and ease of use features. This is the skimpiest and worst menu system I have seen on a TV lately.

Summary: Got two of these on Cyber Monday for the kids for Christmas. They dig it. Not great for games, because of the slower Hz there is some ghosting. TV is top heavy. Phillips recommends screwing the base into the TV stand AND provides the necessary hardware. One TV shipped without remote.
