Defective Ports

  • Summary: I advise you to check all source ports when purchasing a new TV (or any electronically device). One never knows if down the road an expansion to the system will reveal this failure that could be covered under warranty.
  • Pros: Good TV at a Cheap Price. Works well
  • Cons: Bought 2 of these on the same day and originally only had a single device hooked to each on HDMI port 1. 2 years later bought identical 2nd devices for each and discovered that none of the other report worked (even tried switching original working device to the other ports with failure).   • Summary: had tv for a year now ,never had a problem with it till now, does not turn on,if it does powers off and dont do anything. Contacted phillips and said that it is a common problem with this model and that they can not do anything about it unless you have warranty do not purchase waste of money.
