Summary: Philips TV model 32 PFL3506 died after using is for 15 months, I contacted the customer serivce (P&F USA, Inc) and they will not replace or repair the TV as its out of warranty period. So will never buy any Philips TV!!!
Summary: I read through some of the reviews to compare my opinions/experience with the TV before writing my own review, so I'm going to hit on a few things other people have said. We've had our TV for almost 3 years now, it's still working just fine and we use it just about every day. I have a bad habit of falling asleep with the TV on, so it definitely gets it's use, and it's still working!
Summary: HAD THE TV AROUND 3 MONTHS NOW WHEN YOU TRY TO TURN IT ON IT SHOWS THE PHILIPS NAME ON SCREEN AND SHUTS RIGHT DOWN OVER AND OVER. PIECE OF JUNK WILL NEVER EVER BUY PHILIPS AGAIN JUST BOUGHT A EXTENSION CORD SEEN IT WAS PHILIPS TAKING THAT BACK ASAP IM AFRAID IT WILL BURN MY HOUSE DOWN!!!
Summary: I used it with halo reach and it looked like utter dog poop. the crosshatch look of the shading is bad with the focus. The focus is a hit and a miss depending on what do with the tv. The only game that looked good On the other hand was street fighter 4 for the 360. BUT used it in HD connected to my PC and it looked phenomenal. overall. if you paid 300 or less it is ok for that price.
Summary: bought this tv on clearance at target for just over $320 with tax (cheapest price in dfw) couldnt be happier its 720p resolution but naked eye can not tell (at least mine cant) i put it next to my dads 1080p 43 inch samsung with same connection on same channel mine looked just as good on motion and to me deeper richer blacks (his tv rated at 30k:1 this one 10k:1) also games had a better look on this tv as well only downside from his is this one has smaller screen setup...

Summary: This TV has an outstanding picture and very good sound. I like that the sound can be set to automatically lower during commercials. The biggest attribute is the picture quality however. Simple setup, not lots of connections, but then I don't really need them.
Summary: It is tempting to think this TV is really good because of all the 4 and 5 star reviews. I too would have given this tv 4 or 5 stars had I reviewed it within a few months of buying it. Instead, I waited to see if it would give me any problems after over a year of use. I purchased it in Nov 2009 and at the end of Dec 2010 it suddenly stopped working. The power light would come on for about 5 seconds, screen would be dark, then the light would go out.
Summary: I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas. Christmas Eve I pulled it out of the box and plugged it in to make sure everything was working. To my horror, there was this annoying buzzing sound that wouldn't go away. I went to the Philips website only to find that this is a known issue and there is supposedly a firmware fix to solve it. I downloaded all the new firmware and it did nothing to help the buzzing.
Summary: I bought this tv on August 2, 2009, and it stopped working on July 16, 2010. I would turn the tv on, and it would stay on for about 10 seconds before it would turn itself off. It did not have a picture during this time. I called customer service, and they told me that it was already out of warranty. Customer service had the wrong purchase date, but they were very helpful and replaced the tv for me. On October 23, 2010, the replacement tv turned itself off.
