Summary: I purchased this television to be a computer monitor and so far so good. It has all the features I wanted and the images onscreen is excellent. I would say for the price I paid I got a good value for my money. Good Job!!!

Summary: Yeah, just like the others...mine died too after 1 year and 8 months. Guess I got a few more months than average cuz I'm single and don't watch much. Turned it on and multicolor vertical bands over the screen. I seriously doubt I'll consider Phillips again, I thought they were a trustworthy company.

Summary: Just like some other reviewers have noted, this set worked great for a little past one year (the warranty period), and then all of a sudden I turned it on and there was a black bar down the middle of the screen, and the picture had switched to negative values.
Summary: I bought this TV in May 2011. Last night I went to turn it on and there's this big black bar on the left side of the screen and the color has changed to blue, red, and green. I tried checking the wires, unplugging and then it dawned on me that it's the TV and nothing else.
Summary: I am very disappointed with this TV, since the screen went bad (red, green, white, blue vertical lines - no picture) after 1 year and 7 months. I called Philips to explain the issue and they told me that there was nothing they can do since it is outside of the 1 year manufacturer's warranty.
Summary: I bought this TV in September of 2011 and it worked great up until December of 2012. The warranty provided by Philips is exactly one year. The screen shows inverted colors and a 4" black bar down the left side of the screen. Spend the extra money and get a nicer TV that will last you some time.
