Summary: This is a great TV for the money. We bought it for our kitchen-didn't want an itty bitty "kitchen" tv since this is where the family ends up in the afternoons! It was easy to set up. Has all the inputs on the back you could need. The picture isn't exactly perfectly clear as with some I have seen lately...but it is really good (the people actually look HUMAN when they are talking and moving about!
Summary: Cheap flat screen tv, need to disconnect and then reconnect power to gain functionality sometimes. If looking for a inexpensive upgrade from a non-HDTV then is for you. Just be prepared for the shipping (not A+) and possible power lose.
Summary: I bought it for the bedroom in a vacation rental unit. Did not want anything too big but good quality, easy to set up and operate and reliable. This unit seems to meet all those requirements at the right price. I was very surprised how quickly it arrived. Sent by Fed Ex it seems like I had it in two or three days. I think it is refurbished but you would never know the difference from the packaging, instructions and the appearance of the unit. Seems like a great deal.
Summary: The set was a "reberbished" one and really not worth the trouble .This set went bad just 7 days after it arrived. At this writing almost 2 months later we are still waiting for action to be taken to make things right, though I feel sure it will happen. I thought that there was little that could go wrong in such a short time but we have seen very little use from this product and way too many problems.Just goes to show buyer beware and you get what you pay for.
Summary: Bought the TV and plugged it in. It worked. Tried to turn it on a few days later, and it would not turn on. Philips sent a replacement that was a different model and smaller than the original one we purchased. Just read several reviews of this one and the replacement that they sent, and they both seem to have this issue. I am lucky to be able to return it before the warranty expires.
