Not as good as my last Panasonic

Summary: Got this TV to upgrade my three-year-old 32" Panasonic VIERA, which has a simply magnificent picture. In comparison, the picture on this model looks fuzzy and cheap, however I adjust it. It looks like a budget TV, not a Panasonic. I think it might end up in the spare room and I will switch back to the superb 32" original.
Summary: Well, it's Christmas 2012 and what better present for an elderly couple than to replace their 28 inch CRT TV and DVB box with a lovely new 37 inch Panasonic with HD Freeview? Well, in theory nothing. Especially if you choose a trusted manufacturer like Panasonic. We always recommend Panasonic to friends and family - I just think their sets are better than their piers at each screen size and price point - never judge a set by looking at it in Currys under flouresent...
Summary: Picture quality is as good as any other HD tv, but spoilt by the reflective screen which seems so prevalent on tvs at the moment. It's back to the days when you need to draw curtains during daylight viewing because any natural light falling on items in the room will be reflected on the screen and seriously degrade the quality of the picture. What happened to those lovely matt screens??
